Another great installment in the Jane Yellowrock series, once again we get to divulge deeper into Jane/beast lives, we find more about her past with quite a few surprises, which always makes the series great, looking for the next installment in this series. narration excellent as always

Finally a decent book by Ms. Roberts

Glad I got this book, NR finally put out a decent storyline. Haven't read a really good book from Ms. Roberts in a while, so this was a pleasant surprise. totally worth the credit

Should have read the reviews .......This book wasn't about Meg and Simon, which was sad for me, I feel this book was more of a Novella & could stand on its own. I hope Ms Bishop goes back to the storyline we all love.

I wanted to love it....but

I really wanted to like this series...... but oh my I just wanted to slap them, so predictable , lower class people find hero, he rises in the ranks to become top Hero, he makes friends, lose his friends, always has a positive attitude always thinks the best of everyone gets stabbed in the back over and over and over again all three books same situation , he gets one step forward and he get knocked back two steps , it was everything I could do to get through book 3 .

I do believe the narration was one of the best I've heard lately but the story I can only give two stars, just wasn't my cup of tea .

Wow! Wanted to love it... but...

I wanted to love this series because I truly believe KA is an awesome writer, who can carry me away with her stories, but Alas this was not the series, I was not overly fond of the narrator and KA's writing was just ok in this series, all three stories where the same just different rich older women, don't get me wrong I'm a "older" woman but seriously with age should come some kind of intelligence on life... that being said the series was boring and took me forever to get through, this is not one I'd re-listen to down the road.

I liked Belle, she was strong without being a bitch....she was soft without being a pushover, and her and James love story was touching on so many bases. As always KA wrote another successful story to be enjoyed.

Is this the last book? I'm not sure, the story kinda stalled and moved around Meg and Simon which was kinda of disappointing, the story leads away from the two main characters in the book, new characters are added and making this book a bit darker and scarier. Monty's brother enters the story, he is a ugly & mean person, he has dark and selfish thoughts, so unlike his brother Monty and the story revolves more around him than the original storyline the lakeside courtyard.
Although I love the writer and the narrator I was sad that there wasn't more of a solid ending for. !Meg and Simon

Although PB again brings Mercedes and Adam to life in this book, but for the love of hearing, why do you mess up a good thing by adding/changing narrative voices? I hated it and it totally distracted me because I hated it, I didn't make it pass chapter 2 sad to say, I bought the book and finished by reading. I would love to see this audiobook re-done with just LK.
