I really wish Audible would add a rating system so that you could know before you buy. And worse yet, I purchased this on a two for one credit sale, so it is not eligible for return.

Lessoned learned. Before you purchase a title on a 2 for 1 credit, you better find a good way to vet it first.

I liked this book a lot. Fairly short, written very well. While the author has a very nice sounding voice, there is not much variation in it and almost sounds like A.I. is reading it. Strongly recommend this one.

I believe this is my first book by this author. It was an excellent story very captivating, this is important to me as I have strong, ADD issues, and the narration was excellent as well. Highly recommend.

Great author, great book, great narrator.

I recently discovered this author and have now listened to three of his books and I find them to be outstanding. Some people are just gifted authors and he is one of them. Also, I’m not looking at the book at this moment, but the narrator is a great actor and he’s also a great narrator. I love everything he does. I highly recommend this one.

I often don't care for 3rd & 4th sequels to good stories as they usually run out of ideas to keep it going. In this case I really liked the story. I have two problems with Five Years After.
1) While I didn't count them, it seems to me that the two phrases mentioned above were in this story at least a hundred times, along with all the other "cussing light" words & phrases. There were just wayyyy too many. It was a big distraction as the words were used so many times and when it just wasn't necessary. I could not have listened to it with my grand kids around that's for sure.
2) The narration was good except for one thing. The narration for the main character made him sound very effeminate, the same voice & inflections as were used for the women in the story. That really bothered me because that was not the character that was meant to be portrayed. If those two issues were not issues, I would have easily given this 5 stars.

Excellent read

I absolutely love all of Mark Goodwin‘s books, I also love Kevin Pierce as a narrator. As a long time theology and Bible prophecy student and teacher, I think author Goodwin does an outstanding job of his presentation of the overall subject including the rapture, not committing to either side. Originally, I was pre-trib, but for a very long time I have been post trib. The way he presents his genius. Keep up the good work I love your books.
