He appears every three years, making his way across the country and slaughtering humans randomly, sucking them dry until they’re nothing but husks.

Monstrously fantastic

Michael Lesley gives voice to these characters perfectly. From Wyns growling rasp to Danny’s Louisiana charm I was captivated from the first chapter. Lily Mayne weaves a tale of magnetic opposites. Highlighting the extremes of humanity in a dystopian future in which monsters are real, the government has fallen in place of the military, and love and safety are considered fantasy. I cannot recommend this enough.

Declan’s narration is fire🔥

Love the series and was super thrilled when I heard it was coming to audiobook. Declan’s narration is fantastic and brings the characters to life exactly how I imagined them. Though not going to lie every time he voiced Penelope I couldn’t help but laugh.
If you love stories with action, complex characters, dubcon, touch him and die vibes, check it out !

Michael Ferraiuolo knocks another one out of the park! The story is outstanding. The character’s delightful, with realistic fears and expectations. This will definitely be going to my will listen again list.

So love the story. But the new narrator is kind of a mess. The pronunciation of names is inconsistent throughout ESPECIALLY Devin’s name. For the love of everything if your going to change narrator at the very least have them listen to name pronunciation from the original person. Or stick to one throughout.
Not to mention all characters now sound the same. Pretty disappointing. Which is unfortunate since the story is so compelling. I’m not sure if I’ll by the next audiobook or just stick to the regular books for this series.
