Historia
The McCready Family Funeral Home and Bait Shop has crickets running rampant in the store and hot sauce in the Snack Shack's ketchup bottles. But as the county coroner, Frankie has enough on her plate without worrying about the increasingly mean pranks being played at her family's business. And the arrival of Sheriff Eric Linden, both devastatingly attractive and painfully taciturn, is enough to push her over the edge.

Not Right
Revisado: 08-02-19
I enjoy the series but I agree with the others in that Molly needs to have the entire story in one book. Otherwise it seems like Molly Harper’s publishers want to make as much money off of Ms. Harper’s and Ms. Ronconi’s fans. Thus, 3 stars for overall and story. Just not right.

Historia
When celebrated and respected agent Fritz Hudson passes away, he leaves a trail of Hollywood glory in his wake - and two separate families who never knew the other existed. Allie and Des Hudson are products of Fritz's first marriage to Honora, a beautiful but troubled starlet whose life ended in a tragic overdose. Meanwhile, Fritz was falling in love on the Delaware Bay with New Age hippie Susa Pratt - they had a daughter together, Cara, and while Fritz loved Susa with everything he had, he never quite managed to tell her or Cara about his West Coast family.

Can't Wait for the Rest of the Series!
Revisado: 04-14-17
Mariah Stewart did not disappoint! After going through all of her Chesapeake series, I didn't think I would love a different location and different characters as much, but I was wrong.
Great storyline, people and town. Don't make us wait a year to get book 2!

Historia
Four young women's lives intersect in the apartment they've shared in Hell's Kitchen: Claire, a shoe designer; Abby, an aspiring novelist; Morgan, a successful financial consultant; and Sasha, a resident in obstetrics. As different as they are from one another, the women had become a family by choice. But while their lives had proceeded smoothly in the years they'd lived together, new relationships, job opportunities, and surprising circumstances will test the strength of their bond in and outside the loft that had become their home.

Not the Danielle Steel Book I'm Used To
Revisado: 03-30-17
The concept of four women sharing an apartment in NYC is great for a Steel novel but this was a disappointment. From the narrator (a man narrating women's voices just doesn't work) to the continued repetition of the storyline was painful. The story itself was ok (thus 2 stars) but it sounded as if it was written for a tween.
