Historia
Liv’s happy with life in her thirties. She has two cats, one BFF, and no boyfriend, which is just how she likes it. Plus, she loves working at a not-for-profit software company where she can be her authentically autistic self. This is her happy ever after. But when her beloved firm merges with a repulsive rival, Liv finds herself competing with her sort-of-ex for the top job. Sure, Finn had been Liv’s best friend, with his nerdy good looks and their shared love of Tolkien, but there was that one night, their song, and … well, she doesn’t like to talk about it.

Cute story
Revisado: 04-04-25
Cute romance with excellent dual POV narration. Both narrations did great accents and entonation. The story was ok. A little long for my taste. I liked that our heroine was neuro divergent and her interpretation felt very realistic.

Western fiction with a sprinkle of romance
Revisado: 03-29-25
Interesting western fiction story. You listen to the struggles people went through while conquering the west. There’s a little clean romance sprinkled in there. The basis is set for the next books in the series. Narration was good with good accent and different voices for the characters.

Sex. The word makes some people giggle or blush, while others may draw back in discomfort. So, why do we find it so difficult to talk openly about sex? Much of our reticence in discussing and acknowledging the realities of sex comes, at least in part, from a unique time and place: medieval Europe. In the 12 episodes of Sex in the Middle Ages, Professor Jennifer McNabb and a panel of experts in medieval history and literature will take you back to the period between the fall of Rome and the rise of the Renaissance to explore the ideals and realities of sex and sexuality.

Interesting historical stories
Revisado: 03-21-25
It was more like a series of stories that did not follow a specific timeline. Found it a bit scattered. Interesting enough but I was expecting more. Narration is ok.

Just ok
Revisado: 03-03-25
I felt like I have listened to this story before. The only difference is that the heroine has a disability. Quite predictable but entertaining with a Luke warm romance. The narration was great as expected from Rosalyn Landor.

When faced with such a devastating loss, how does a mother find a way to carry on?

You never know what someone is going through
Revisado: 02-21-25
This is a bittersweet book. I enjoyed listening to Chelsie’s story on how she overcame the odds and achieved so much in the different facets of her life. She was beautiful inside and out and so talented. Yet mental illness was more powerful. I wish it dealt more into her childhood or any past trauma that may have contributed to her feelings of inadequacy and persistent depression. The book starts with her pageant career so it is a bit superficial because childhood has a huge impact on everyone’s life.
It is beautifully narrated and adding the parts the mom added were so important to feel the crushing impact suicide has on those who love the people who make that decision. I hope this book is healing to her mom and I hope that anyone going through depression and/or suicidal thoughts decides to live one more day, every day. Keep fighting because life is worth it.

Her story, her narrative
Revisado: 02-17-25
I really liked this honest story of resilience, survival and grit. People tend to forget that Allison is her own person and has her own story, separate from who Twitch was. I admire her for how hard she has fought all her life for a better future for her and for her kids. This is a story of an inspiring woman who made her way into the world and found love and success and made her own dreams come true. She also survived the loss of her husband through suicide. I felt this story was honest and inspiring. Great narration as well. We all can rise from the ashes like the phoenix. And it we have to start over, we will.

Historia
Trauma nurse Aly Cappellucci doesn’t need any more kinks. She likes the one she’s landed on just fine. To her, nothing could top the masked men she follows online. Unless one of those men was shirtless, heavily tattooed, and waiting for her in her bedroom. She dreams about being hunted by one in particular, of him chasing her down and doing deliciously dark things to her willing body. She never could have guessed that by sending one drunken text, those dreams would become her new reality.

Not for me
Revisado: 02-08-25
This is a crime and kink heavy story. I didn’t feel that the romance and love was developed at all. To be fair there are plenty of warnings about what to expect from the story. It didn’t do it for me. I was expecting more of a Fifty Shades kinda thing but this is more about the crime, knives, death and past trauma. So to me it’s not sexy or romantic at all. The narrators did a fantastic job though so I was able to finish the story. But to me it was a wasted credit.

Interesting.. rich people also struggle
Revisado: 01-09-25
It felt real and interesting to learn the real Paris Hilton and not the reality tv character. Rich people are not exempt of hardships. It made her seem real. No mention of Carters first child which is messed up but hey can’t be perfect I guess.

I’ve had a crush on my co-worker Declan since the day I started working at Rockline Studios. Trust me, if you could see this man, you’d have a crush on him too. It’s been two years since my first day of work … two years since my head has been filled with fantasies and daydreams about the things I could do to him. Two years of…SITTING BY AND DOING NOTHING because dating within the office is forbidden, frowned upon, something we’re not supposed to do. The night of Rockline’s infamous New Year’s Eve party changes everything.

Spicy
Revisado: 12-20-24
Well this is a very short story so it’s basically little buildup to a couple of detailed sex encountered. Not much romance and a mild Christmas theme. Good narration though but to me it was too much spice and too little romance.
