It was good, but I was a little confused in the end
Revisado: 05-08-25
I’m not sure she made it really clear to the listener what was happening. Admittedly, listening takes a little bit more effort and concentration than reading does. When you see a name when you’re reading it’s printed on your brain but when it’s just mentioned along with a lot of other names when you’re listening to an audiobook, it’s easier to forget.

Great story as always.
Revisado: 05-08-25
She’s very good with her subtle miss directions and often surprises me. It’s too bad that the victim didn’t find a way to win, but sometimes I like something that’s realistic and surprising more than an unhappy ending.

I enjoy this author‘s stories.
Revisado: 05-08-25
Some grammatical errors and too much drama with the reader, but otherwise very good Her subtle misdirects surprise me often. I kind of saw this one coming though, but it was still a lot of fun. She makes grammatical errors that bother me, but still the stories are good. I dont like when readers fake cry too much when real life wouldn’t call for that much drama.

She writes really good, psychological thrillers
Revisado: 04-27-25
I thought this was a great story and it surprised me a few times. It was a lot of fun and I love psychological thrillers. My only problem with it was though she doesn’t have any idea what being with only three drinks of water and no food in 24 hours will due to a body. Even after only 12 hours, the people are all falling down week from thirst. That’s ridiculous. I wish you would have done a little more research or tried it herself before writing the story because their physical symptoms of thirst for the amount of time they went with a small amount of water were so inaccurate was bothered and almost took away a star for it. It’s also a great story, but there are no real magical ways of saying things or describing things. It’s pretty straightforward without any beautiful words. Beautifully expressed thoughts are equally important to me as the story. But her stories are exceptionally interesting. I’m looking forward to the next one.

The grammar was incorrect, and the story was pretty slow
Revisado: 04-25-25
I would prefer a faster more interesting story. And it really does bother me when somebody’s a professional writer, and they don’t know how to say “ so and so and me”, instead of “me and so-and-so”. A professional writer usually has a professional editor, and nobody caught those constant mistakes?
I thought it was pretty slow paced. It was good enough that I listened to the whole thing and I’m pretty picky. I don’t finish a lot of books. I don’t love all readers either when they overact and pretend cry over things that really don’t deserve tears. I thought this reader did a pretty good job and was easy to listen to.

I don’t think I’ll be able to finish this story
Revisado: 04-21-25
This lady is 29 years old and her little sister has been missing for many years. She’s found alive and she’s supposed to be 27 years old but instead she still as young as she was. The social worker never told the older sister that surprise, even though she’s supposed to be 27 she’s only six or seven. She introduced her to the little sister without ever Mentioning that she never grew any older. And then the little girl said to her sister, are you taking me to mommy? Like she didn’t notice that her sister was now 29 years old instead of five or whatever. My numbers are off but you get my point. With so little attention to detail I can’tread on. Why didn’t I check? The Oprah list or something?

Revisado: 04-14-25
What an awesome story. I love the story. I loved the ending. I was surprised after all when I didn’t think I would be. Just because of the excellent way it was done. The reader was wonderful. He wasn’t overly dramatic. He just told the story and didn’t try to force us to feel how he thought we should feel by the way he read it. Great job excellent story.

I’ve heard most of it before
Revisado: 04-09-25
This was a good story. I enjoyed it. I’ve heard a lot of it before. But I think Dean Koontz had the idea first.
I recently read a pretty good book about an adult girl who discovered that her father was a serial killer and was a heroin about it. I think Dean Koontz wrote this first though so the idea came from him and I have a feeling someone copied him pretty much. I just wish that the people reading the stories wouldn’t try to be overly dramatic. It’s very distracting when they sound like they’re crying. I can’t get lost in the story when I can’t stop thinking, will you just read the story and a normal voice and quit acting like you’re crying? I hate that. I can’t imagine that anybody does like it. Oh yeah, and this guy does that quite a bit which is why I stopped to write this review.

It’s been done before
Revisado: 02-16-25
It’s a good story and the reader was pretty good. I know things were different in 1975 but were they really that disrespectful to women? The story was fun, but it’s already been done before. I can’t remember where I’ve heard it. I read a lot and I won’t give away the plot by saying anything here but yes, it’s been done before. I always consider it a big success, though if I can complete a book Because I’m pretty picky about stories.

It’s nonsensical even for a fantasy
Revisado: 02-10-25
I bought all three books at once because I looked up best written, sci-fi books and fantasy books in the last few years and this was on the list but… I am so tired of wasting money on books that aren’t good. Who reviews these books? And I don’t wanna hurt this person‘s feelings, but really? I’m the first one to say it could really be anything in regards to explaining the nature of the universe in life and death, etc. But this? I couldn’t take it anymore. I turned it off at the beginning of the third book.
