Information in the book was good and the format was nice since the topics were broken out into short chapters. If a health concern doesn't apply you can just jump to the next topic. Also appreciated the extra resource links at the end of each chapter. The narrator made it really hard to listen to though. Very choppy delivery and he pronunciation was just weird.

Slow start but worth it!

Story started out a little slow but the characters had a lot of depth and the storyline hooks you. I enjoyed the mix of cultures that the author folded into the characters.

A book everyone should read

This was a wonderful book. The story line is very moving and a great reminder of how we touch other people's lives without knowing it. I highly recommend this book!

Insult to Jane Austen

If you love Jane Austen don't listen to this book.

All of the wit, humour, and wonderful characters that I love so much from Austen's books were reduced to a predictable and boring plot line. Elizabeth sounded like an air head and Darcy like a Disney character Prince.

The narrator over emphasized every other word which detracted from the story even further. Elizabeth and Jane sounded like 12 year olds.

The author didn't seem to research social norms for the time period and Jane Austen would never have written in implied sex scenes. Very dissapointing.

Wonderful material

The material in the book was wonderful and really makes you rethink how you've been viewing yourself and your life. The narrator made it difficult to tell if it was another person's story or the author's first person story because she didn't change her inflection or tone when switching back and forth.

Brene is a wonderful teacher

I've listened to other books by Brene but it was more powerful to hear her go through the training and relate her personal stories. listening to this course will open your heart.

Funny and Charming Modern Fairy Tale

The story line is full of clever details and the characters come alive with the wonderful narration complete with accents. It's my newest addiction and makes me laugh out loud. Who says these are just for kids?

A fiiting final book!

I have loved this series since I downloaded the first book. Gerard Doyle is an extremely talented narrator who brings the characters to life. Once again Paolini did a wonderful job of writing suspencful scenes full of action balanced with parts of the book which further describe the mysterious land of Alegasia. I was very sad for the series to end as I have grown very attached to all of the characters (even the bad guys!). I'm sure that Paolini is ready to write something different and expand his professional skills as a writer, but I hope this is not the last we see of Sophera and Eragon. His writing has been very inspirational to me. I look forward to reading all of his new books in the future.
