This is a cut and dry Isekai Do-Over. Light and fluffy, just wins. The twist of the villainess’s previous profession is interesting. Villainess would choose the friend she made in the trenches over the Prince every time if she had to and that is beautiful.

Poetry is meant to be read aloud, and I am so pleased with the narration.

Even knowing how it all ends, I’m heartbroken as ever. The characters feel and sound so real. It’s the perfect war drama.

Wilson’s translation felt just modern enough to follow easily.

Delightful performance. I really like the narration

This book really pushed the story along. I hope there is a 4th volume.

The lead was a little less whiny, which was nice. My issue continues to be that Agnes is so unconfident in the extreme. I know it’s part of the story line but it’s boring. I hope Agnes can learn better control of her powers

I want to preface this by saying the target audience for this series is probably 12yrs old.

With that in mind, this series is incredibly sweet. The FL can be a bit frustrating with how slow she wants to take everything.

Interesting but slow

The spin on Norse mythology is fun. I appreciate Ari’s growth throughout the book. The romance however, turtle pace. It’s especially slow when compared to other works by Chase.

The cliff hanger was enough for me to want to listen to book 2 but, I need more steamy romance from a reverse haram.

Funny writing and silly situations. Our heroine is likeable, if a little self deprecating. She does make it clear she won’t put up with any BS anymore which I loved.

Richardson does a great narration. Ready to listen to volume 2!

Story Quality

This series is able to maintain its charm into the fourth volume. Sei is a lovable heroine with a solid head on her shoulders. The romance is so incredibly slow burn, but I love it. I can’t help but want only good things to these characters.

Taylor brings these characters to life. I appreciate the effort put into the narration of this series.

I love this light series. Our protagonist is committed to the things she wants and is willing to adapt. Sei is likable, consistent and kind. The romance is wholesome, but progressing at a snail’s pace. This series would be appropriate for all ages IMO
