Historia
Stone Barrington and his latest paramour are enjoying a peaceful country retreat when their idyll is broken by an unwelcome stranger. But with boundless resources and a thirst for vengeance, this foe will not be deterred, and when one plot fails another materializes. Their latest plan is more ambitious and subtle than any they've tried before, and the consequences could remake the nation.

can't believe a PI wouldn't have recorder.
Revisado: 04-01-23
Besides a PI without a recorder I doubt a private Jet would make it from L.A. to Rio without stopping for fuel. Probably Mexico City. Wherever they could have had him picked up there.

Billionaire hires ex- player as body guard.
Revisado: 01-23-23
Let me get this straight? A billionaire scared for his life hires an ex-player that doesn't even carry his own weapon for a bodyguard. He could hire security almost as good as The President and that's what he does. I don't want say he deserves to die but duh. I'm sure if someone threatened Jerry Jones he would hire some former player to protect him. He's not even en under imminent threat and I guarantee he has better security than that.

Why so smart yet so stupid
Revisado: 01-23-23
I can't believe she made the same mistakes over and over. Pretty much from day one she should have have hired a Spenser or her own Ray Donavan to follow her brothers and watch her back. Good story but why make a smart person so stupid.

How a scatter brain becomes an FBI AGENT.
Revisado: 01-11-23
I can't imagine how a scatter brained person with no time management ability could become an FBI AGENT. She can't track where her kids are or what they are doing. It took her the whole first book to finally create a board that she still didn't follow. After what she went through with her sister and job she does a lousy job of communicating to her kids about
stranger dangers. The last thing Matt says to her is not to do anything stupid. Why stop now when she does so many. I doubt these days if any police station is not covered by video cameras inside and out. That probably goes for hospitals too,.

Good story but Luke and Nicole could be smarter
Revisado: 01-03-23
Took them long enough to suspect Ava. I thought of her at the get go. Their client is a multimillionaire. Why they didn't fly private made no sense. They could have diverted mid-flight and been waiting when their client landed. He would not have been killed.

There’s a serial killer on the loose! It’s not Kate Gazzara’s first rodeo, but this one is…different. Four young women, all with their throats cut, all with different backgrounds. What’s the connection? Is there one? And then there are the feathers. What do they mean? Kate is under pressure to solve this one quickly, but there are no leads and no suspects, just…the feathers.

Eneptness
Revisado: 11-24-22
It was a pretty good story up until Kate went to the house. How many stupid mistakes can you make. She should quit or be fired. she almost got herself and two of her detectives killed. First going into the house of a murder suspects house alone and the of awareness of the mother. Then at over five-eleven and twenty years as a cop not having the self defense skills to handle a sixty plus year old lady is ridiculous. The fact she forgot the old lady had her should not have mattered. She should have told other officers to arrest her the minute they entered the house. They would searched her and cuffed her and ended the threat. I don't understand why writers have to make cops so stupid to create drama and treat readers like morons.

Historia
In addition to being among the most celebrated of contemporary filmmakers, Quentin Tarantino is possibly the most joyously infectious movie lover alive. For years he has touted in interviews his eventual turn to writing books about films. Now, with Cinema Speculation, the time has come, and the results are everything his passionate fans—and all movie lovers—could have hoped for. Organized around key American films from the 1970s, all of which he first saw as a young moviegoer at the time, this book is as intellectually rigorous and insightful as it is rollicking and entertaining.

Brought back memories
Revisado: 11-08-22
Enjoyed it lot. I am about 12 years older but when I was young I used to read a lot of old Hollywood books. A couple of my favorites were by David Niven Bring on the Emty Horses and The Moon's a Balloon. When I was a teen the triple features were big. The 3 Eastwood Spaghetti Westerns. The Last House on the Left, Blood Feast and Town of a Thousand Maniacs. I have to say one of my favorite scenes in a movie was from True Romance. Dennis Hopper an Christopher Walkan.

Good Book as usual.
Revisado: 09-23-22
I love all the Spenser books. In this one though, have they ever heard of ballistics or fingerprints when it comes to which shooters shot which victims. Also, in all the years Spenser has been a PI why has he not ever learned to pick a lock instead of a shim which leaves evidence of a break-in. He also always gives the reason for carrying a almost worthless 38. There is a reason cops no longer use them.
