Historia
When the Knight Bus crashes through the darkness and screeches to a halt in front of him, it's the start of another far from ordinary year at Hogwarts for Harry Potter. Sirius Black, escaped mass-murderer and follower of Lord Voldemort, is on the run - and they say he is coming after Harry. In his first ever Divination class, Professor Trelawney sees an omen of death in Harry's tea leaves... But perhaps most terrifying of all are the Dementors patrolling the school grounds, with their soul-sucking kiss...

Horrible narrator
Revisado: 07-18-21
Can we petition for a new narrator? I’ve hated this one all my life. Any time I want to re-listen to this familiar, cozy, beloved series, I’m assaulted by his terrible voices (everyone sounds the same and like they’re insane), and horrific acting.

Historia
Ryland Grace is the sole survivor on a desperate, last-chance mission - and if he fails, humanity and the Earth itself will perish. Except that right now, he doesn't know that. He can't even remember his own name, let alone the nature of his assignment or how to complete it. All he knows is that he's been asleep for a very, very long time. And he's just been awakened to find himself millions of miles from home, with nothing but two corpses for company.

Historia
January 1910. A journalist has been killed in a suspicious blaze. Everything points to a group of suffragettes, but the apparent culprit insists she is innocent. When Lady Hardcastle receives a letter from a suffragette requesting her urgent help, the retired spy turned sleuth knows only she stands between an accused young woman and the gallows. Evidence at the scene makes Lizzie Worrel’s innocence difficult to believe, and with the police treating it as an open-and-shut case of arson, Lady Hardcastle faces a barrage of resistance as she tries to dig out the truth.

Historia
Late October 1909, and the season of ghouls and things that go bump in the night has descended on the village of Littleton Cotterell. Lady Hardcastle and her trusted lady’s maid, Florence, find themselves hosting a colorful cast of actors whose spooky moving picture, The Witch’s Downfall, is being shown to mark Halloween. But things take a macabre turn when the first night’s screening ends with a mysterious murder, and the second night with another. One by one the actors turn up dead in ways that eerily echo their film.

Revisado: 07-15-18
The story depends heavily on unrealistic characters. Mysteries are so much better when you think “wow, this could happen to me”, not “wow, this would never happen”. No spoilers but everyone in this story is insane/evil, which simply doesn’t happen. I also wish mystery writers would get more creative - it was the same type of character who did it in the last 4 mysteries I read. Overall I’d recommend this book as an interesting read but it would certainly not be the first I’d recommend. The Girl on The Train, The Girl You Lost and The Woman In Cabin 10 blow this out of the water.

I was so excited about this that I preordered it. I love mysteries and stories in far away lands that inspire me to travel. But this was a highly predictable and easy mystery, with no point, moral, or justice. An unfinished and unsatisfying ending. Also, very unbelievable; though stories sometimes require a suspension of disbelief, there is no world in which the lead wouldn’t have sat down with the police and her aunt and explained her side of the story top to bottom; perhaps they’d choose not to believe her but the character wasn’t so weak and dumb that she wouldn’t say LISTEN TO ME HERE IS WHAT IS GOING ON. Also, the American reader’s English accent was so horrific it took me out of the story many times and her overly breathy voice drove me nuts.
