Very cool premise

I really love the idea behind this story. I'm looking forward to future books with maybe a little more depth and a little more editing but overall I enjoyed it.
The narrator has a great voice for adventure and did a really nice job with accents and distinguishing between different character's voices, and held my attention really well.
I'll definitely be up for finding out what the Twins are up to in the next book.

Surprised there wasn't an altar call at the end

Is there not a Christian Fiction genre so I can avoid nonsense like this? Some parts gave a good laugh but mostly at the sheltered view of the world written by an author who had clearly not experienced commonplace things. There were several places where I thought "you've never seen/heard/done that before and didn't bother researching have you" Surprising amount of swearing though which might make it unenjoyable for Christians too.

If he used the word evidently one more time I might have lost my mind. The author has clearly never used a thesaurus.

The male characters all use cliche sexist language when referring to women.

The narrator pronounced the word güey like gooey and used a really bad and unnecessary accent when reading the Latino character's dialog.
overall a garbage book. I don't usually like to say mean things but this was really bad.

I was really interested in the potential for this to be a great story but the narrator is so dull that I found myself drifting off into other thoughts too much to get through the book.

Great narration and really good plot. I didn't want it to end but at the same time, the ending was perfect.

Very good overview

Although I found some segments oversimplified, this book provides very good explanations for those with a poor understanding of scientific concepts. unfortunately I'm not sure it will reach those who would benefit most. I did enjoy the comparisons of myth to science-based facts, very much, however a religious person would probably be infuriated by them, even though the science is explained in ways much better than I could convey to someone who doesn't understand something like evolution. I also enjoyed the dual narrators. The change in voices helps to hold attention especially while performing other tasks during which your mind might wander.
