Historia
A sexually charged and wickedly funny thriller starring Tony Award-winning actor Billy Crudup, Harry Clarke is the story of a shy Midwestern man leading an outrageous double life as the titular cocky Londoner. Moving to New York City and presenting himself as an Englishman, he charms his way into a wealthy family's life as the seductive and precocious Harry, whose increasingly risky and dangerous behavior threatens to undo more than his persona.

No Sir, I don't like it.
Revisado: 02-18-19
Some may find this entertaining or perhaps interesting. But this story did nothing for me. Story of low morals, sexually and homosexuality. Not that there is anything wrong with it, but you'd have to actually be interested to enjoy the time spent on this book.

Historia
These works are considered Weil's primary essays and letters. In addition, Simone Weil's niece has contributed an introductory article entitled, 'Simone Weil and the Rabbi's: Compassion and Tsedekah,' which puts Weil's relationship with Jewish thought into perspective. She includes source material from the Rabbis that put Weil (however reluctantly) in line with rabbinical thought throughout her major themes. The book is the ideal English introduction to the works and thought of Simone Weil.

Nope, not for me.
Revisado: 08-10-18
What was it my grand mother used to say? Claptrap. The ramblings and gibberish of the functionally insane. I didn't care for the narrator's voice either.

Excellent Syfy, Great Story
Revisado: 09-07-15
Where does Swarm rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
This is one of the best stories I have read in a very long time.
What did you like best about this story?
I really like the concept for this story. How do we fend off a robot invasion? With help from nanites sent by aliens.
What about Mark Boyett’s performance did you like?
The audio performance is very good.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
Some of the character responses do make me chuckle.
Any additional comments?
Can't wait to read the next one.

Good Story, Don't care for the narrator
Revisado: 01-22-13
I have not finished this book yet. I can say that the story so far is engaging. However, I do not care for this narrator. He starts each sentance by speaking quickly and loudly, then begins to speak more quietly, becoming harder to hear, as he completes each sentence. As I listen to most books in my car I have found that I have to have the volume painfully loud (for the beginning of each sentence) in order to hear the end of each sentence.

Historia
Discover magazine recently called Richard Dawkins "Darwin's Rottweiler" for his fierce and effective defense of evolution. Prospect magazine voted him among the top three public intellectuals in the world (along with Umberto Eco and Noam Chomsky). Now Dawkins turns his considerable intellect on religion, denouncing its faulty logic and the suffering it causes.

Its good to be an atheist.
Revisado: 10-29-08
I think this is a great book. I'm sorry it took me so long to come across it. I've been atheist for a long time, now I no longer feel ashamed to say so. (It's a good thing I'm not a politician, that would be the end of my career.)
This is a good scientific based analysis and presentation of religion as an evolved human adaptation or behavior, and the idea of religion as a meme - a replicating and evolving component of our environment that uses humans as a vector for reproduction. Think of the cold virus.
