A decent omegaverse story

There were some interesting world building things that I wish were expanded on, and the epilogue felt like it should have been a whole novel on its on rather than just one short chapter.

The narrator's voice somehow managed to cause my headphones to vibrate which was an interesting experience that I managed to tame by increasing the speed.

The sex scenes are probably both plentiful and explicit.

Much better than the first book

This might be because I have only read one other book in this series, but I really feel like the author's skills have improved. The first part of the book was a little depressing because both of the characters were in such a high stress situation, but once you get pass that the book gets alot easier to get through.

Also the spice delivers.

Oddly cute

I didn't really think I would like this book and actually avoided it for a year (because dinosaur shifters sounds super weird). I'm really glad that I decided to give it a shot because I actually really like the dynamic between Dalton and Simon. My only problem with this book is that so much happens in such a relatively short time frame. It makes everything feel like it moving way too fast.

This is one of the most fast paced audiobooks I've listened to this year. The romance is more tell than show and the mystery that the main character was there to solve was unsatisfying in both execution and conclusion.

Loved it ad much as I expected

Somehow I knew, before I even started this audiobook, that I would love everything about Resurrection Reprise. It is extra spicy and surprisingly sweet in a way that makes me want more from this particular couple. Fair warning- you should probably finish the main series first before listening to this book because it definitely takes place after the main series.

While the whole insta-love thing did throw me off a bit, I am nevertheless eager to continue following Patrick and Jono for the rest of the series. Also the narrator is top tier.

Surprised by how much I love this

I (very unfairly) didn't expect anything out of this book. Imagine my surprise and joy when I ended up having the absolute blast listening to this audiobook.

The narrator definitely has a good range on him and I there were several points where I thought there were multiple people narrating. My only gripe with this book is just how short it is. I feel like there was so much unexplored potential in Ian and Nate's story, so I was disappointed to find out that this is the only book in the series focused on them.

Cute but...

This books greatest strength is definitely the world building. I was endlessly fascinated by the different roles that all of the magical creatures took in a modern society and how that intersected with each of their distinctive characteristics.

The romance is definitely more of a gentle simmer than most would expect of a romance, but I liked it enough to smile at the interactions between Sed and Phil.

My only real issue with this story was this really strange and frustrating conflict that appeared in the last 3 hours of the audiobook. I almost gave up on the book because the solution that the characters came up with was frustratingly dumb and was just there for unnecessary drama.
