Historia
Emery has never felt more alone. Raising her daughter is both her pleasure and her pain as she struggles to hold on to her job as a bartender and keep a roof over their heads. With no one to help them - no support system - any unexpected expense or late bill could turn their whole world upside down. Reeling from the death of his twin brother and bandmate, rock star Oliver Smith is trying to drink his problems away. Apparently he isn’t very good at it; they follow him wherever he goes. Also in hot pursuit are the paparazzi, who catch Oliver at his lowest low.

Loved the story
Revisado: 10-23-21
Jordan did not narrate well enough for me. However the book and storyline was excellent. I didn’t not read much of description and was not sure what to expect but I’m glad I gave it a chance.

Historia
In the little city of Flint, Michigan, the good die young, and the people left standing are the grimiest of characters. With reign over the city's drug trade, Benjamin Atkins made sure that his precious daughter, Raven, was secluded from the grit that the city had to offer. But when Raven's young heart gets claimed by Mizan, a stick-up kid in search of a come-up, there's nothing Benjamin can do about losing her to the streets.

Wow
Revisado: 02-01-21
I really enjoyed this book, and I must say I did not see this coming. The end threw me all the way off, a lot happened in the beginning and middle then it rushed to the end only to give us a snippet. Lol. Why epic story has so many installments?

Wow good read.
Revisado: 01-02-20
I must say I appreciate an ending that isn’t like a fairytale one. The story of Patsy is so much like many other mother and father who migrate to America for various reasons often leaving their loved ones behind. I really enjoy this book, the narrator could’ve been better though.
