I’m a tad disappointed considering how excited I was for this book to come out. It was hard to follow. I had to go back and re-listen. It didn’t answer enough questions I had from the last book and only left me with new questions. And now I have to wait two years to resolve that cliff hanger. Guess what, Rebecca? The people don’t want cliff hangers! We hate cliff hangers!!!

I loved the whole story and can’t wait for the next one! But I’m praying it has a different male narrator. Gosh, he was AWFUL. He sounds like the narrator from my bible app. Not good. Not good at all. But everything else was wonderful.

I loved it! Main character is a little frustrating at times because she’s an actual child. But she gets better. My only wish is that the male and female narrators have a discussion before recording about how they think certain characters should sound. Female narrator gave Arthur an Italian accent. Male narrator gave him a gangster accent. It was frustrating.

Stop scrolling. You found your next book! This book has it all. I laughed, I cried. I laughed some more. Its remarkably well written and I’m stunned that it hasn’t gotten more press. The story is perfect and so is the narration. You won’t be disappointed!

If you’re into polyamory, you’ll love this series. I love romance, but this was different than the others I have listened to! I personally did not love the idea of multiple lovers at one time… like literally simultaneously. But the fact that they’re monsters made it a little easier to swallow. Trying to imagine humans just being cool with a whole lot of “sharing” didn’t work for my brain.
