He has done it again!

Jerry Ellis has done it again! I absolutely love this book! Mr. Ellis knows how to explain things so eloquently, then suddenly have me cracking up with his little quirks, "His spray tan was on point." This story is original, refreshing, and I adore the ending.

It has some great stories. But, unfortunately, for this audio reading, Chapter 4 is so overtaken by the background music that you cannot hear it. I was very disappointed that I could not listen to Chapter 4.

Waste of time

This was almost ridiculous. Had I not bought this book, I would have stopped listening to it. After reading "Forty Years in the Wilderness," by Dolly Faulkner, this book was laughable. This author complains of not knowing if the racquetball court she's about to see at a fancy cabin will be heated, she buys an $800 snowsuit on a whim, her online orders take a week sometimes to be delivered, they go for pizza frequently, she gets groceries flown in weekly, and they shoot a moose because they "heard how good the meat can be"....how can they even survive?! *insert rolling eyes face* I guess after reading Dolly Faulkners book, this was not the book to follow up with. I feel like the Bible quotes in this book were a filler, and if I had wanted a sermon, I would go to church. The only good thing was the narration.

I can definitely attest to one of the certain retailers you mentioned adverise their sales VERY well. When I worked at said retailer, the same mediocre sale we had been having the week prior, the signs for that sale were only made bigger and brighter (but the same small percentage off) for the upcoming "holiday sale." People rushed to the "great sale," although they were unfortunately only rushing to bigger, brighter signs. :(

Insightful

At first, I thought this book was just a bunch of ramblings. I almost gave up on it. But, by the second chapter, it really started to get good and I started to connect. Its definitely worth a listen. It made me think about some things differently for approaching children when they create art...just some different ways of says, "good job!" and to keep encouraging them.

Beautiful

This book is amazing. The author reading it in her soothing, understanding voice made the listening experience even better. This book brings a whole new view to the world (even though it is an older, ancient view) and how we should relate to every thing. I wish this book was required reading for kids in high school.

A True Gem

Just as all of the books in this series, this book was just as wonderful. I may go through this whole series again. The story could come to a complete end with this book or the author could continue on with the series. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for another book to be written.
