Historia
Meet Minnie, Dotty, and Stella—all retired and year-round residents on a cruise ship, they have dubbed themselves the unofficial matchmakers aboard. Minnie can ferret out a lonely woman by the second day of the cruise. Dotty can spot an open-hearted man all the way across the Lido Deck. And Stella is great at putting a plan together. Together they’ve been every bit as successful as one of those online dating sites, and they can watch the romance unfold right before their eyes.

Historia
In the Shadow of 10,000 Hills combines the force of literature with the allure of women's fiction in a family saga that spans from Atlanta during the Civil Rights Movement to post-genocide Rwanda. At the heart of this novel that crosses racial and cultural boundaries is the search for family on a personal and global level.

Tough subject but good
Revisado: 05-17-23
This story taught me a lot about Rwanda. Be warned, it’s a tough story that may hit a nerve for anyone whose lost a baby, or witnessed any sort of violent act. Overall, I learned more about the country and it’s recent tragic past.

Transported me back to Belize
Revisado: 05-17-23
After visiting Belize, this story caught my eye. It instantly transported me back to the jungle, the heat, the bugs, the incredible landscape and most importantly the people.
