It was difficult for me to listen to one of the narrators. She took deep, dramatic breaths at pauses. It may not bother some, but it drove me nuts. The other narrator did well, but her voice did not match her character. Narration definitely affected my appreciation for the story.

While it was a slow start, it lifted me, angered me, and broke my heart all at the same time. Don’t wear mascara while listening. Im sure the actual read is excellent, but not sure that it would have been the same experience as listening, as Imogen Church pulls you into the story with her incredible voice. I need a minute to get myself together, because I am a blubbering mess.
