In Life after Life, Raymond Moody investigates more than 100 case studies of people who experienced "clinical death" and were subsequently revived. First published in 1975, this classic exploration of life after death started a revolution in popular attitudes about the afterlife and established Dr. Moody as the world's leading authority in the field of near-death experiences.

Too much talk too little value
Revisado: 05-15-24
I found this book to be dragging the information and just trying to feel the time instead of getting to the history and to the point that they either might possibly signed up for. I would not recommend this book to anyone who is looking for certain specific insight.

Too basic
Revisado: 03-04-24
too naïve, basic, nothing new. I cant even listen to it
I found this book to be quite disappointing. Initially, I was drawn in by the sample and decided to purchase it, but upon starting from the beginning, I was on the verge of returning it due to its poor representation of self-love, which caught me off guard. Despite my reservations, I persevered, only to encounter references to the law of attraction akin to those found in "The Secret," which further dampened my enthusiasm. As I continued listening, it became evident that the author lacked a nuanced understanding of human emotions and could benefit from delving into the works of HeartMath to gain more insight.
One glaring example of this deficiency is the author's portrayal of anger as a "very low vibration." This oversimplification overlooks the complexity of emotions and suggests a need for deeper exploration. Furthermore, the book's content struck me as overly simplistic and rudimentary, prompting frustration that such material could find its way into publication. Additionally, I noticed that the author liberally borrows concepts from Tony Robbins' teachings, such as the example of visualizing a depressed person, which feels directly lifted from Robbins' workshops or books.

great book, none of the links work
Revisado: 03-03-24
It is so disappointing that NONE of the links Judy refers in her book works, no one responds to messages. emails, or facebook group messages. This book must be updated with current information. I think it is disrespectful to the readers to sell the book with outdated information and ,honestly and unfortunately speaks volumes about how much the author cares

This book is written for atheist. Way too much science. It’s almost like Dr. Joe is trying to stretch to make sure he’s got more words to be paid for.

Revisado: 01-21-24
I had this hook for many years and finally started it. I am half way though and I have not yet found a single useful thing. I have heard all of it and more and I don’t understand why the authors present it as the “only cure”

Disappointed
Revisado: 01-08-24
- chapters don’t align with dates
- narrator is not what I would chose
- Jesus is portrayed as needy being who would create our lives miserable do we beg for help
This is so stupid. Old school. Like I would create issues for my son so he can depend on me. It’s ridiculous

Historia
Thousands of people have had near-death experiences, but scientists have argued that they are impossible. Dr. Eben Alexander was one of those scientists. Neurosurgeon Alexander knew that NDEs feel real, but are simply fantasies produced by brains under extreme stress. Then, Dr. Alexander’s own brain was attacked by a rare illness. The part of the brain that controls thought and emotion shut down completely. For seven days he lay in a coma. Then Alexander’s eyes popped open. He had come back. Alexander’s recovery is a medical miracle. But the real miracle of his story lies elsewhere.
