This was such fun to read
Revisado: 04-26-25
I loved this story! Great characters… Ben and Jessica were so great! Ben’s complications and Jessica’s response to them were just a great read. Some of it ( in a hospital setting ) was a little far fetched, but really fun. The other characters were also interesting. Although I haven’t checked, I’m sure there are books about them too! I will look forward to listening. My one negative was the narrator. Although she was good, this book would’ve been better with a male narrator like Jason Clark. Gruffness and sarcasm is hard to imitate with only one narrator. Still I liked it a lot.

Great story
Revisado: 04-18-25
Have just found this author… mainly because I like books about royals and commoners. Emma Chace wrote some really good ones. So, I really liked this book, but the female narrator’s portrayal of Abby sort of puzzled me. I’m not sure whether she was trying to portray Abby being on the spectrum, or just being so smart that her being able to follow social cues were lacking. I loved her character, and she certainly portrayed her even up to the end of the book that way. Jason Clark’s narrative was “Wowsers!” His voice is so powerful, but tender. So, that being said, I’m off to the second book in the series!! I love connected yet standalone stories. Oh, another thing that bugged me were the two podcasters. The one’s giggling totally annoying!

The first book in the Blind Rebels rock star romance series follows Kady, a broken ex-popstar trying to rebuild her life after suffering a traumatic event and Mav, the charismatic lead singer of famous Blind Rebels, who has been talked into doing a reunion residency in Las Vegas a year after the band broke up in a very public, explosive way on stage.

It was OK
Revisado: 04-14-25
I was a little disappointed in this book, mainly because JBengsston an author whom I loved recommended it. It was ok… there parts of the story like the horrific event that caused Cadence her disability were not explained very well. The build up to that event felt like a minor detail. Also the relationship between Harden and Hayley… very confusing and maybe there is a book about them I don’t know. Also Killians hatred toward Cadence was not explained well, as he was such a minor character. I guess there will never be another writer like JBengstton, and this one did not measure up.

I’d always dreamed of my wedding day. But not like this. Not looking into the eyes of the man who betrayed me. But when my nephew’s guardianship is contested, I decide I’ll do whatever it takes to keep him in Rose Hill. Even if it means marrying the enemy. Rhys Dupris. A man who is secretive, broody, and completely infuriating. A man whose work takes him away for weeks on end and brings him back covered in mysterious bruises—ones he won’t talk about. In fact, we barely talk at all.

Revisado: 04-12-25
This book does not disappoint. Loved the love story, the depth of character development. The small intertwining of characters from the other novels in this series. I guess I’m going to have to wait a bit longer for the last book in this series! I’m such a fan!

Rosie Belmont has been driving me wild for years. The good kind of wild. The bad kind of wild. But mostly the kind of wild that comes with wanting your best friend’s little sister and knowing you can’t have her. After living in the city, she comes blasting back into Rose Hill like a storm. Beautiful, messy, and chaotic. And one wide-eyed desperate plea for a job is all it takes for me to hire her.

This is my first Elsie Silvers novel! I absolutely loved it. Love unrequited love, younger sister… hilarious well written banter! You cannot beat Zachary Webber and Vanessa Edwin who made the characters come to life! I’m on to the second book… so excited!!!

Nothing really
Revisado: 03-30-25
This was not favorite of mine by this author.. in fact I think I prefer Mesha Bell as a co-author. She has a great sense of humor, and I can pick her out in novels she’s written in collaboration with someone. That’s actually how I found out about her and thought I’d read some of hers. They just lack depth. Lots of spice, but the stories just don’t do it for me. Also Erin Mallon’s voice and her character voices are really annoying. I was disappointed.

I must say the thing I didn’t like the most is that I had to buy two books. This story should be one book.
Revisado: 03-27-25
I liked the story, but I’m finding that obsessed MMC are not my thing. He was almost too much for me, and as much as I liked the story I felt sorry for Emma. Like c’mon give her a freakin’ breather. I will read more by this author, she developed her characters, and told a good story. Still feel having to buy two books ( because this wasn’t really a series, you had to buy the second book to get the ending ) was off putting!

I’m Caleb “C-Bomb” Baumgarten, the bad boy drummer of Red Card Riot. After tragedy strikes, I get the bright idea to hire my daughter’s remaining lifeline, her “Auntie Aubbey,” as my live-in nanny in her small town. I’m determined not to give in to my white-hot attraction to Aubrey, since I need her to certify my sobriety and testify on my behalf at an upcoming custody hearing. But you know what they say about best laid plans, right? Yeah. My bad.

Wonderful story
Revisado: 03-23-25
I’m beside myself that I’m at the end of all band characters that I’ve come to know and love. I do have Ball Peene Hammer left, and so after I’ve finished thinking about C-Bomb and his story, I’ll listen to the one I have left. One missing link from author… these books all have interrelated characters in the books. I wish I’d had a family tree so to speak, because band mates marry characters from other series and it’s very hard to remember who’s with who. If you take time between reads do it.. it took me awhile to remember C-Bombs back story. Otherwise I just loved it!!!

My new boss has it all. In spades. Gorgeous green eyes? Check. Hard-and-sexy body? Check. Intelligence? Check. Success? A big fat billionaire.... Check. Too bad I haven't started out on the best foot. My big mouth has already turned him against me, and tempting good looks and success aside, Trent Turner is no peach either. He's stubborn and thick-headed, and son of a fruitcake, he thinks he knows everything there is to know about the hotel business. But that's not all. See, he isn't just my billionaire boss from hell. He's my new neighbor, too.

Cute banter
Revisado: 03-18-25
I could barely stand listening to the narrators. The male narrator’s voice was so irritating that I almost stopped listening altogether. I not sure if I’ve read other Max Monroe novels, but this one didn’t do it for me. The female’s voice was less grating, but you know when something is just too cutesy? Too contrived? Her banter was just that. So this just wasn’t my fav.

I have no words to even describe how wonderful these books are
Revisado: 02-22-25
I wasn’t expecting to be so drawn in, or experience such a riveting, fascinating saga. The only other “Time Travel” book I’ve read was Outlander. And although I loved it it was really long. I didn’t read the rest of them. These books were like “ please don’t make me do anything until I finish this chapter!” That being said, there were lot of confusing side stories and characters. It was at times difficult to figure out who everyone was… 2nd and third books especially. Book 4 I May never recover from… the intensity, cruelty, forgiveness… just beyond! I am now going onto Elle O’Roarks website to listen to the Epilogue… I hope I live through it!! Henri and Sarah… divine!!
