Bottom line the story was good. I really enjoy love triangles which this had, my only complaint was that their were alot of characters and most of the guys names all sounded alike. I read and listen to books everyday and I felt like I needed a pen and paper to keep the names straight. Definitely a good read, where you can see the names. If you are good at keeping similar names straight then no problem, otherwise you may want to make a name chart to start off. Anne Flosnik is always great! It is worth the listen just be prepare so you can maximize your enjoyment.

Easy - Fun Romance

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

I would recommend this to anyone who needs an easy fun light listen.

How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?

I hate when books start with with a sex scene or jump right into it, however I stuck it out with this book and I'm so glad I did. From previewing the book I knew that this guy had to write erotic novels to pay his bills and I was interested in whether or not he could do it and where the story would go.

What did you like about the performance? What did you dislike?

I love the actual word play through out the book. Loved that he had to hide who he really was. He couldn't tell his family or friends he was an erotic book author. It was really funny.

So good but too short

Would you consider the audio edition of The Rocker Who Holds Me to be better than the print version?

I never read the book.

Would you recommend The Rocker Who Holds Me to your friends? Why or why not?

Absolutely. It was soooo good, but way too short to be an audiobook. These books are expensive so I typically never buy a book this short however it was on sale so I did. It was definitely worth the sale.

Have you listened to any of Devra Woodward’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

This was the first time I listened to her.

Any additional comments?

This book could have been a 4 star book because it was extremely well written. But for the cost versus length of the audio I just can't do 4 stars. However, if its on sale get it you won't regret it. It really is good.

OMG ... Sebastian York!!!

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

It was definitely an easy read. My last few books have been very dark so i needed a break with something fun and romantic.

What did you like best about this story?

I love any story that has the characters waking up married and clueless to what happened. The book was also sweet and funny. I laughed out loud so many times. Love the way she used descriptions of characters to real life people. Comparing one person's tan to Donald Trump -- LOL.

Have you listened to any of Sebastian York’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Sebastian York could read the phone book and I'd be hooked! The only thing better than listening to him read is when he teams up with Andi Arndt. He's AWESOME. He made the book.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I did listen to it in 2 or 3 sittings, but honestly I was not glued to it. It's not on my read again list and definitely did not have me staying up late to find out what happened, but it was entertaining.

Single Mom Finds Love

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

This was a sweet love story. It had some angst and quite a bit of internal dialogue which I like so I would recommend it to those who enjoy the same.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Love at Last?

I really liked that Garrett left everything behind to go to Alaska to figure out what he wanted in his life. Then he met Delia. The fact that she was a single mom didn't make him run away.

Which scene was your favorite?

I love the backdrop of the Alaskan wilderness. Who doesn't like the idea of romance in a cabin or in the wilderness.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

This is a feel good - easy read. IMO best to read if you need a rest from a book hangover.

The narrator Hollis was great! Her voices were amazing. I could see her doing MC books.

Would you listen to Defiant again? Why?

This book was so amazing. It is not on my re-read/listen to list, but very few books make it on that list for me. However, it was so enjoyable that I found myself looking for more books from this author before I even finished this book. I'm so glad I took a chance on it. The other reviews were spot on. Its a great book.

Who was your favorite character and why?

There were quite a few characters in this book, but it was easy to follow along. I didn't feel like I needed to make a list of who's who. I enjoyed how strong and resourceful Kate was. No one in the book came across as weak and that is very important to me. I hate when women seem needed or incapable of taking care of themselves. Kate was smart, creative and a force to be reckoned with.

Which character – as performed by Tara Radcliffe – was your favorite?

Again all characters were well developed.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

No idea.

I typically like ROMANCE books, historical, highlander or chicklit. However every once in a while I am in the mood for something a bit different. In the past I have enjoyed books by Lisa Scottoline. I would compare this book with her. Mystery, intrigue with a bit of romance mixed in. Get this book. It is worth it! Last 1/4 was awesome!

What did you like best about My Heart's in the Highlands? What did you like least?

I wish this story could have been like the last 1/4 of the book. Honestly, I had a hard time finishing it. Twice, I went back to check other peoples reviews. I just didn't see what all the hype was about. It wasn't bad, but I prefer more angst or a faster moving story. Then the end of the book came and WOW, it was REALLY good!

If you’ve listened to books by Angeline Fortin before, how does this one compare?

This is my first book by this author.

What does Kirsten Potter bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I really enjoyed the narrator. Her voice was pleasant and easy of the ears. Probably one of the reason's I kept listening when I felt like the story was lacking.

What would have made this romance irresistible?

If the whole book would have been like the ending - the last 1/4 of the book. Why didn't the author write the whole book like this?!? It was almost like it was 2 different people writing the book.

No Build Up to the Story

Would you try another book from Jade Allen and/or Veronica Holly?

This book wasn't for me. I need a beginning, middle and end. It seemed like this story had the couple meet and in bed in the first few minutes. I can live with that if it is followed up with a story. This book did not do that. It felt rushed and forced. With that said, I would try another book by this author, because what story I could find was actually okay - just not enough of it. I did like the narrator.

What do you think your next listen will be?

I love all Romance books - Historical, Billionaire, MC, Paranormal ... anything that lets me know the characters and fall in love with their story.

The story was a short easy listen. It wasn't bad just not for me. I want build up. I want angst. I want to know the characters. This book was just too rushed for my taste.

OMG - AWESOME

What did you love best about Unbound?

This book had everything. Romance, heartbreak, suspence, love, forbidden love and a forever love.

Who was your favorite character and why?

I loved all the characters, even the ones I hated.

What about Neva Navarre’s performance did you like?

Her voice was perfect for this book. I was hesitant when I listened to the sample, but I am sooooo glad I got this book. I can't imagine anyone else besides Neva doing this series.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I loved the back and forth banter with the characters. It was so well thought out. It was real life. It definately had me wanting to cry happy tears and sad tears so many times.

Any additional comments?

If you are hesitant about this book - GET IT. I read/listen to hundreds of books this is only my second review to write because this book is that good.

Lots of Potential

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

It was a quick fun listen. Short and to the point.

What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)

I did like the way the ending wrapped things up and didn't leave you to wonder what would happen or why.

What do you think the narrator could have done better?

I thought he did great on the male narration, however the female part seemed very robotic.

Do you think Mail Order Bride - A Bride for Carlton needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?

The first half of the book was great, but the second half seemed rushed. It would be nice to have a prequel to this book.

I would try this author again. The book had alot of potential to be great.
