I read this book years ago, and it remains one of my favorite books by Dean Koontz. Don't let the naysayers deter you. Perhaps a bit different from the majority of his books, but to be honest, I don't think (to date) that I have read/listened to a book authored by Dean Koontz that I haven't liked.

I have always liked John Saul books, and am enjoying the Audible versions. I used to be an avid reader, but since my brain injury occurred in 2013, I sometimes struggle with not only reading comprehension, but retaining what I read. My solution is Audible. If I have a physical copy of a book, sometimes I will follow along in the book while listening to the narrator. A way of retraining my brain.

I love this series of books!

I'm a brain injury survivor, and have a form of aphasia; difficulty with reading comprehension, at times. I have recently subscribed to Audible, theough which I discovered these books. I am enthralled with the storyline, and the narrator does an excellent job with all of the different voices for the characters. I'm about ready to start listening to book #3 😊
