Revisado: 11-14-23
As someone who works in the industry it can be hard to convince those outside the industry that space is more than science fiction and government astronauts. This book does an excellent job laying out why space is important and will only become more important going forward.

Unique business leader
Revisado: 08-10-20
By and large I loved this book. Great firsthand stories of his experience building Kinko’s in an unorthodox way. I thought he spent a little too much time talking about some of his shortcomings, otherwise it would be 5 stars. It felt at times like he was trying to atone for things in the book. Other than that, I think this book deserves a place in any entrepreneur or business leaders well-rounded library.

Absolutely fantastic
Revisado: 03-02-20
I was always a big Arnold fan, from his bodybuilding books to his movies and even when he was governor and I was living in California. I’d seen Pumping Iron and read Tony Robbins books where he mentions How he was struck by Arnold’s approach to being a great bodybuilder and actor. Both of those things made me curious about this book. I was hesitant to listen to this book because it was 23 hours and often books that long can drone on for hours, but not this one. Usually books that long the author feels they need to add as much material as possible to fill it up and make it longer, but not this book. This is Arnold’s story told from his perspective from start to finish. It really is unbelievable just like the title. Awesome narration too. Highly recommend to fans of Arnold and those looking to do great things in their life. I think Americans would do well to remember the immigrants perspective.

Historia
Creativity, Inc. is a manual for anyone who strives for originality and the first-ever all-access trip into the nerve center of Pixar Animation - into the meetings, postmortems, and “Braintrust” sessions where some of the most successful films in history are made. It is, at heart, a book about creativity - but it is also, as Pixar cofounder and president Ed Catmull writes, “an expression of the ideas that I believe make the best in us possible”.

Historia
The United States Football League was the last football league to not merely challenge the mighty NFL but also to cause it to collectively shudder. It spanned three seasons, featured as many as 18 teams, secured multiple television deals, drew millions of fans, and launched the careers of legends - but then it died beneath the weight of a particularly egotistical and bombastic owner, a New York businessman named Donald Trump. Jeff Pearlman draws on more than 400 interviews to unearth all the salty, untold stories of one of the craziest sports entities to have ever captivated America.

Backed by investors such as Larry Ellison and Tim Draper, Theranos sold shares in a fundraising round that valued the company at more than $9 billion, putting Holmes’s worth at an estimated $4.5 billion.
