Historia
Hillbilly Elegy is a passionate and personal analysis of a culture in crisis - that of white working-class Americans. The decline of this group, a demographic of our country that has been slowly disintegrating over 40 years, has been reported on with growing frequency and alarm but has never before been written about as searingly from the inside. J. D. Vance tells the true story of what a social, regional, and class decline feels like when you were born with it hung around your neck.

Sad story

I listened to this story so I would know something about our vise president
I think he did a very good job telling his story
Never felt like he was tattling on his family He really loves them and that’s wonderful
The language was very course that made it hard for me to listen to it
But he did a wonderful job telling his story without bitterness or hate
Vice president Vance Really is an overcomer and must have a wonderful loving wife to help him through it all
This story should help everyone to realize no matter ur background u can overcome and achieve a better life without bitterness or hate and I think that is why he wrote this book

Elizabeth Camden did it again and another wonderful story with lots of history about something I never thought about very interesting. Very good storyline never fails to amaze me what she can take and make a great story out of and narrator can either make or break a book. This one did a great job.

She adores her apartment overlooking the bustling Boston Harbor, and her skill with languages has landed her a secure position as a translator for the U.S. Navy. However, it is her talent for translation that brings her into contact with Alexander Banebridge, or "Bane", a man who equally attracts and aggravates her.
