Historia
"Unvarnished. Funny. Leaving no stone unturned"...So say the publishers about this audiobook I've written. What I say is that this is the story of my life, told as clear as a Texas sky and in the same rhythm that I lived it. It's a story of restlessness and the purity of the moment and living right. Of my childhood in Abbott, Texas, to the Pacific Northwest, from Nashville to Hawaii, and all the way back again. Of selling vacuum cleaners and encyclopedias while hosting radio shows and writing song after song, hoping to strike gold.

Historia
"I’m James Taylor and I’m a professional autobiographer", says the celebrated folk singer at the start of this tender audio memoir. Through decades of music by one of the best-selling musicians of all time, who created classics like "Fire and Rain" and "Carolina in My Mind", James Taylor has doled out his history in the poetry of his work. Taylor says his early life is, "the source of many of my songs", and Break Shot is a tour of his first 21 years in rich, new detail.

I heard him and saw him this time around
Revisado: 02-07-20
James Taylor's life is such an eclectic narrative, an inspiration, such a lucky man he was. his advice on music and songs is worth the price of the listen at $21.95 book price, if you are a musician as i am only not professional. the ups and downs put him in places where he could have been in prison, dead, asylum, or just a spent heroin addict with one hit wonder fame status never over come.his insight in spiritual depth seeps into the worldview of we are all in this together. And he is right "Real music touches hearts, minds, makes you laugh or cry, can start a revolution and makes babys." oh and it can make white folks dance- no wait that's Alcohol the song by that country singer dude.

her voice is anti audible
Revisado: 11-10-19
I couldnt enjoy the message because of her crackly raspy voice persistently irritating my auditory nerves. i mean really she is a PhD in a media vocation and didnt think of that.

Historia
Best-selling author Bryan Burrough recently made a shocking discovery: The small town of Temple, Texas, where he had grown up, had harbored a dark secret. One of his high school classmates, Danny Corwin, was a vicious serial killer. In this chilling tale, Burrough raises important questions of whether serial killers can be recognized before they kill or rehabilitated after they do. It is also a story of Texas politics and power that led the good citizens of the town of Temple to enable a demon who was their worst nightmare.

Revisado: 06-09-19
he reinforced with science that which ancient shaman knew 7000 years ago. I was surprised he didn't mention the Fibonacci sequence of natural order which is a foundation of how all plants use geometry as a building block. hey but what do I know I am just an electronic technician 40 Yes. experience who sees natural order in all things from my little window of knowledge about electrons reacting to any vibration. uh oh that's quantum mechanics or is it string theory ? lol

pomp and circumstance manages to elude the crux
Revisado: 05-11-19
the narrator was superb and the visual imagery created gave colorful images yet, if one is a visionary of historical analysis, the hypocracy of Mountbatten in the Royal family is actually German ,then what is this really about ? A good recipe for control. that is governments purpose.
