if you are thinking to pick this up based on "slice of life" tag, don't
per definition if you google it, slice of life is : "a realistic representation of everyday experience in a film, play, or book."

harem fantasy erotica is better descriptors and "wants to be perseved as alfa male" potagonist

and plenty of unrealistic situations thats far from a realistic representation of normal human interactions.

time well spendt

This book was quite alot of fun, and if you have seen alot of mainstream media and anime. you might have fun trying to name all the references the wrighter put in, (like, Mario, Monsterhunter, One Piece)

it shapes up to be an epic adventure. and all the charecters have well writen personalities cant wait for the next book.

(this next part ment as constructive critiqe)
there were some slight Audio quality issues that was noticable in the start of the first 5 chapters (like it was recorded on diffrent settups chapter to chapter) while it was slighty jaring its not a deal breaker IMO, and dont happen after chapter 5.
the narriator have a broad range of voices, and totaly nailed it. i love the voices and you can hear she have done her reaserch and gets names and gags pronounced correctly. i wish the inner dialouge of our heroine had a slight filter/effect so it was easyer to seperate it from spoken dialouge. as she often have a mental reaction and thoughts, then awnsers vocaly.
ill keep tabs on books she narrates in the future and if they fall into a catagory i like ill mostlikely get that one too. allready preordered the next one ^_^

lovely isekai game lit

i holded of getting this book for a few days. im glad i gave this one a try in the end.
there was a few minor flaws in the narration but overall a good preformance first parts of the book had some noticable intakes of breaths in between lines but seamed to get sorted out. every now and again there would be an line that if read with a delivery could give it a little more impact, despite some minor flaws it was a good preformance and i hope to hear more of her in the future. i will be waiting for the next one.

its a lovely game-lit story with a good foundation, building into a good action adventure with town/city building in the next book
id love to see where it will progress onward. and i love some of the truelly "alien" beasts and races of this book so far.

bought and listend though this book with short work related breaks over 8,5hours ish.
Amber Lee Connors did amazing work conwaying emotion in her preformance in this audio book. and i hope she will keep on doing exelent work on other books too.
feel like this book should have an erotiva/explicit tag too(exhibisionist/Humiliation(and other bdsm elements)) i am gratefull i was working alone this day, it got pretty exiting at times.
minor persived flaws imo, where not too much of a fan of the first part before the "becomes a pet" part. feels like the wrighter left/ignored the whole human pack mentality and "us vs them" survival instinct to force story along. there are also several time skips that i felt wheren't explained all to well what happened (so short i missed the 1-2 sentences that explains the few months, could have been given some more attention) bigest flaw imo is that there seamed to be zero non verbal communication attempts unless my unfocused mind totaly missed it (and when it was trained/punished out of her) its multiple instances(major spoilers if i mention them all) where logic seams tossed aside and sadly it brings the book down somewhat for me but over all i enjoyed it

i would not say this fits a pure dungeon core book catagory. i enjoy Core books alot and this was alot of fun too, but buying this thinking its close to other Core books that have a spin on the geanre might get really disapointed it got some elements but are much closer(/are) being a hero/villan super powered adventur of sorts
all in all a token well spent ^_^

monstergirl/harem/polyamorous stories too some degree. i have picked up 3 diffrent EricVall bookSeries and i find them sadly hard to enjoy might that it be its aimed for listeners atleast half my age or for those that are hope full and gullible, like i was
