Historia
One sassy Demigoddess. Four hot Guardians. A Realm to rule. The balance between Winter and Summer is on a knife's edge, and only one person can save it. With four of her mother's strongest warriors to guard her, Wyn is thrown into a Realm full of unicorns, demons, and gods with agendas she can only dream of. Can the Winter Princess fulfil her destiny and prevent a war that could destroy everything? The Daughter of Winter series features four (yummy) protective men, a strong heroine, Celtic mythology, kilts, Scottish accents, ancient gods, very steamy scenes, a unicorn and even dragons.

yikes…

My main qualm with this story is the narrator. Her inflections and choice of interpreting the author’s words make the main character seem naive, and immature, and easily impressed. The narrator makes everything sound complex and important when this book is so simple it hardly qualifies as something worth reading/listening to.
The story is definitely based in smut, I heard this was more of a slowburn but it most certainly is not. The plot doesn’t feel very progressive, and it doesn’t make much logical sense.
There’s no established characters back stories, the author chooses to establish the “relationships” (sexual attraction) between the characters instead

Is someone else's problem your problem? If, like so many others, you've lost sight of your own life in the drama of tending to a loved one’s self-destructive behavior, you may be codependent—and you may find yourself in this book. With personal reflections, exercises, and instructive stories drawn from Beattie’s own life and the lives of those she’s counseled, Codependent No More helps you break old patterns and maintain healthy boundaries, and offers a clear and achievable path to healing, hope, freedom, and happiness.

Historia
Sophie Beckett never dreamed she'd be able to sneak into Lady Bridgerton's famed masquerade ball - or that Prince Charming would be waiting there for her! Though the daughter of an earl, Sophie has been relegated to the role of servant by her disdainful stepmother. But now, spinning in the strong arms of the debonair and devastatingly handsome Benedict Bridgerton, she feels like royalty. Alas, she knows all enchantments must end when the clock strikes midnight.

Cinderella divergence???
Revisado: 07-24-22
As always Rosalyn Landor (narrator) performed amazingly! However, this plot was far below what I expected from the author. This book is basically cinderella with a twist. Sophie and Benedict’s relationship has several holes that were in need of resolving by the ending, and they only seemed to be together because the author decided so. This book ended in the right way, but took the absolutely wrong route in getting there.
