story seemed slow and plodding. couldn't finish

I couldn't finish the book, but I found the story to be plodding. it didn't move very fast. The accent of the main character, while good, did not add anything to the story.
Seemed very derivative of other stories in the same genre while adding nothing new.
character interactions were boring and at times painful.
maybe it gets better later on (I only made it 1/4 of the way through)

this book was so engaging and honestly there were some really touching moments for me personally that really hit home.
If you're up to date on the series, you do not want to miss this addition. if you're not... I envy you. I wish I could listen to it for the first time again.
