Historia
It was a typical evening at a mall outside Portland, Maine. Three teenage friends waited for the movie to start. A boy flirted with the girl selling sunglasses. Mothers and children shopped together, and the manager at the video game store tended to customers. Then the shooters arrived. The chaos and carnage lasted only eight minutes before the killers were taken down. But for those who lived through it, the effects would last forever.

Very good character building, felt like this story was about my neighbors and friends. I really cared what happened and when I wasn’t reading, I kept thinking about the story!
I have been disappointed with some other of Ms. Roberts books, but no disappointment here! Fabulous writing! Just read it, you’ll see.

Still reeling from the heartbreaking events that unfolded on Grissom Island, Ruby Rose is trying to come to terms with the fact that she’s gone from a vigilante in killer shoes to a stone-cold killer. Revisado: 06-01-15
What disappointed you about Resisting Ruby Rose?
This book falls into that unfortunate category of not living up to the potential of the original. This book was full of a whiny teenager and all her self-tormenting angst and it got very tedious, very quickly.
Has Resisting Ruby Rose turned you off from other books in this genre?
Not this genre, just this series.
What didn’t you like about Kimberly Harsch’s performance?
When I read the first book, I imagined Ruby to be a tough, go-getter type with a confident attitude. I did not expect this performance to be one of a bratty Valley Girl.
What character would you cut from Resisting Ruby Rose?
All of them. I'd scrap it and start over.

Historia
There are some odd things about Nate’s new apartment. Of course, he has other things on his mind. He hates his job. He has no money in the bank. No girlfriend. No plans for the future. So while his new home isn’t perfect, it’s livable. The rent is low, the property managers are friendly, and the odd little mysteries don’t nag at him too much. At least, not until he meets Mandy, his neighbor across the hall, and notices something unusual about her apartment. And Xela’s apartment. And Tim’s. And Veek’s.

Twisty-Turny Story with a wild-end curve!
Revisado: 10-30-12
Would you consider the audio edition of 14 to be better than the print version?
I did not read the book, only listened.
What other book might you compare 14 to and why?
I've never read a book like this. I might compare it to Dr. Who, The Twilight Zone or The Time Machine (which I did read). But this book is unique.
Which character – as performed by Ray Porter – was your favorite?
I liked 3 characters the best, Veek, Nate and the old "publisher".
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Some parts of it I could not stop listening to, I had to continue the story, but some parts I needed to think about.
Any additional comments?
Really good story! I highly recommend itl.

Historia
The world will end on Saturday. Next Saturday. Just before dinner, according to The Nice and Accurate Prophecies of Agnes Nutter, Witch, the world's only completely accurate book of prophecies, written in 1655. The armies of Good and Evil are amassing and everything appears to be going according to Divine Plan. Except that a somewhat fussy angel and a fast-living demon are not actually looking forward to the coming Rapture. And someone seems to have misplaced the Antichrist.

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?
no, i thought the story was flat and slow and not very interesting
How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?
more action, faster pace, less description
Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Martin Jarvis?
I don't know, but this guy has no inflection, just a very flat performance
Was Good Omens worth the listening time?
nope

Probably the shifting and the daughter rescue

No, but I like her voice, I think she does a good job
If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

Historia
Succubus (n.) An alluring, shape-shifting demon who seduces and pleasures mortal men. Pathetic (adj.) A succubus with great shoes and no social life. See: Georgina Kincaid. When it comes to jobs in hell, being a succubus seems pretty glamorous. A girl can be anything she wants, the wardrobe is killer, and mortal men will do anything just for a touch. Granted, they often pay with their souls, but why get technical? But Seattle succubus Georgina Kincaid's life is far less exotic.

Revisado: 08-02-12
What did you like best about Succubus Blues? What did you like least?
The story was okay, but really tired of the main characters whining about how great she is and what a burden that greatness is
Would you be willing to try another book from Richelle Mead? Why or why not?
I usually love this author, but I did not like this series or this character
Which scene was your favorite?
none were really my favorite, but I guess the birthday party....
If this book were a movie would you go see it?
No, probably not

Love, love, love Richelle Mead
Revisado: 08-02-12
Where does The Golden Lily rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
It ranks in the top five. I love Richelle Mead's original series where Sidney was introduced, so this was a natural follow up. I think the story is better in these books, though. Or at least I like Sidney better than Rose, I think.
What was one of the most memorable moments of The Golden Lily?
Can't tell you, it would spoil the fun.
What about Emily Shaffer’s performance did you like?
Love how she was able to transition from all the different accents, and characters so smoothly. She really did a great job. And I love how she was able to give voice to Sidney's exasperation!
If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?
Alchemical Lily turns Desert Gold.....I don't know, not very good at this

What would have made Frost Moon better?
a new author and a new story, way too much "baggage" in this book for me
What was most disappointing about Anthony Francis’s story?
everything was disappointing. I think she could have done a better job fleshing out her main character instead of tying her up in dog collar regalia
Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Traci Odom?
have no idea, don't know very many narrators yet
If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from Frost Moon?
the whole book and started over

Revisado: 08-02-12
What did you love best about Criminal?
I loved finally learning Will's back story.
Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?
The plot was exciting, but not edge of seat, thrilling.
What about Kathleen Early’s performance did you like?
I liked how she voiced Will's character, I was not sure how it would sound since the main character was male, but she did a good job.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
Yes, but I can't tell, it will give away too much.

"Witness" this extraordinary novel, amazing read!
Revisado: 08-02-12
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Yes! Yes! Yes! This is, by far, the best Nora Roberts book I have ever read. The story is absolutely riveting. It is timely and a great coming of age story, no matter how old you are....
What did you like best about this story?
I loved the main character. I loved how she is portrayed, I loved how the narrator interpreted the nuances of her feelings and words, and her story gave new meaning to what it means to have a stable home life.
Have you listened to any of Julia Whelan’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
Have not heard any others, but will definitely find more!
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Yes, could not put this down. I even brought my headphones to bed to listen while I fell asleep!
Any additional comments?
Honestly, this is just one of the best, most enjoyable books I have listened to, or read in a long time. Great story, great characters, and a great personal lesson. Always be yourself!
