Even if by some miracle you can make it past the horrid narration, the plot is far too simplistic. All of the characters feel very two dimensional to say the least. I will avoid any books by this author and narrator in the future.

My favorite fantasy series!!!

I love everything about this series. It's characters are sharp, witty, and flawed, without being over the top. The love story doesn't overshadow the true purpose of the story, but rather, helps build it up beautifully. I can't wait for more from this amazing author!!!

The story is boring and predictable!!

Unlike the other novels from this collection, the characters seem very two dimensional and utterly predictable. Also, this story is lacking so much of the wonderful wit and charm I have come to expect. There is none of that wonderful build up of tension when it comes to "will they or won't they". Any suspense is over with almost as quickly as it began, leaving the entire plot feeling unnaturally rushed and played out.
The one shinning spot in this rather dismal read, is the background information we receive on some of the siblings.

Absolutely charming and erotic all at once

Usually, one can find one or the other in any literary book worth it's ink. However, it is quite the feat to find both wrapped up so beautifully and eloquently, and the bow on top...it is about two women. This work, for someone who rarely sees themselves depicted in historical romances, and even rarer to have favorable outcome, means more than the author could ever know. I will treasure this book forever and pray it is not the last of its kind.
