Historia
In her best-selling memoirs, Ruth Reichl has long illuminated the theme of how food defines us, and never more so than in her dazzling fiction debut about sisters, family ties, and a young woman who must finally let go of guilt and grief to embrace her own true gifts.

Good not great
Revisado: 05-21-13
I liked the characters and story but didn't enjoy the readers voice. It is a very automated sounding voice, it reminded me of my old kindle voice. I wish there was a but more going on at the yarn shop.

Very Good listen
Revisado: 09-26-12
I have read all the books in this series, this is the first time I listened to one. I enjoyed it as well. Gabriell is such a great character you just have to want everything to go well for him. I'm always rooting for him to find some peace and time to just paint, however, that wouldn't make for a good story so im happy he is always brought back to work.

In this dramatic new novel following the best-selling The Dark Tide, a drive-by shooting rocks the posh suburb of Greenwich, Connecticut, and an innocent bystander is left dead. Until Annie Fletcher, a young restaurateur in the midst of rebuilding her life, witnesses something she shouldn't have....and immediately runs to him with what she knows.

Historia
There's no police training stronger than a cop's instinct. Faith Mitchell's mother isn't answering her phone. Her front door is open. There's a bloodstain above the knob. Her infant daughter is hidden in a shed behind the house. All that the Georgia Bureau of Investigations taught Faith Mitchell goes out the window when she charges into her mother's house, gun drawn. She sees a man dead in the laundry room. She sees a hostage situation in the bedroom. What she doesn't see is her mother.

Just what I needed
Revisado: 08-21-12
Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?
I was looking for a story that would make me want to know what happened but I wouldn't have to think hard. This was perfect for me. I thought it was a good story, well done and will definitely listen to more. I only gave it a 3 because I will save 4 and 5 for fine literature.
Was Fallen worth the listening time?
Yes definitely, for me ,it was the right thing at the right time.
