Such a great story!
Revisado: 04-28-23
As always, another great audio book by Riley Edwards! This is the story of Shiloh and Luke. Shiloh is the youngest of 4 and the only girl in her badass law enforcement family. She was raised by her brothers after her parents made poor choices. She feels broken and unable to be loved or be friends with anyone for that matter……….until she meets Luke. He’s sees past all her tough exterior and refuses to be pushed out of her life. Being a but broken himself, he recognizes exactly what she needs. As usual, a strong female lead paired with an alpha male. Riley never fails to write a great story! This is a stand alone, but does make more sense if you at least read/listen to the Next Generation series first. Though I recommend reading/listening to 707 series then the Next Generation prior to Triple Canopy. I started with Triple Canopy, then went back and read the others and found it made more sense!

Historia
The day Shane boarded the plane for basic training, I was happy for him. He escaped a life we both despised. Then he was killed in action before I had the chance to tell him I loved him. Now I write letters he'll never read. Talk to a cold gravestone, heard only by the wind...and maybe that guy in a baseball cap I only glimpse before he disappears.

Loved the book
Revisado: 04-04-23
So I really loved this book, read it twice, but honestly the audio version is a bit rough. I like Troy but listening to CJ as Lily makes me feel Ike I’m listening to a Disney Princess. Inset Cinderella, Snow White or any version of an animated princess. Rough on the male voices, swearing and even worse for the sex scenes. It also made me dislike Lily just a little and she made her seem weak. Like I said I’ve read it twice and always loved Lily and how strong she was. Definitely recommend reading over the audiobook

Historia
Brady Hewitt was all too familiar with the horrors of war. They clung to him, or maybe he clung to them, using the nightmares as an excuse to keep others at bay—especially his boss’ daughter, Hadley Walker. Beautiful, sexy, ambitious, and forbidden. Not just because the former Special Forces soldier respected her father and liked his job, she was too good for him—all sunshine and smiles while he was darkness and filth.

Must listen
Revisado: 03-02-23
This was yet another great audiobook by Riley Edwards! The story of Brady and Hadley. As with the rest of her books, it features a strong female and definitely an alpha male. Hadley is another spitfire from the Walker clan and Brady overcame a horrible upbringing to become a good man and find his place among Triple Canopy. Though this is a standalone, I highly recommend you listen to or read the 707 series followed by The Next Generation. I initially read out of order and though it worked, I prefer to enjoy the series in order. I have read this book twice and listened to it once. I honestly never get tired of any of Riley’s books. Definitely recommend listening to this book!

Historia
A career-ending mission sends Trey Durum’s life into a death spiral. Out of control, scarred, and with his spirit broken, he tries to adjust to civilian life. His plan to fade into the background goes up in smoke when Adalynn Walker crashes into his life. The sexy physical therapist has everyone fooled. She’s not sweet. She’s not shy. She’s not patient or kind. She’s a ball-busting sadist who pushes his body during PT sessions and refuses to allow the former SEAL to wallow in his misery. She’s also the woman who sets his soul on fire.

Love Trey & Addy
Revisado: 03-02-23
Another great listen! I just love the story of Trey and Addy! The title definitely covers both characters. You initially think it is meant to cover Trey who suffered on his last mission but then it dives deeper into Addy’s backstory. Once again Riley does a great job with a strong female lead but both characters balance each other nicely! This is a stand-alone but definitely makes more sense if you listen to or read the 707 series and The Next Generation. Truthfully, I have only listened to books I have previously read before, so I am uncertain as to whether I appreciate the story more this way!
