It's like thinking the unthinkable. After all, the farm population is dwindling. It takes too much capital to start. The pay is too low. The working conditions are dusty, smelly and noisy: Not the place to raise a family. This is all true, and more, for most farmers.

The best book I've ever read!

I enjoyed the story very much but I did not enjoy the narrator. Her mispronunciations of multiple words throughout was a little shocking but her attempts to change her voice for the different characters was just plain bad. The breathiness in which she narrated was annoying and as a speech therapist I couldn’t help but think of the damage she will cause to her vocal chords if she continues narrating that way. I would recommend maybe reading the book instead of listening.
