This really is a great book if you are a fan of the earlier Federation marine books. You will love this one characters from previous book show up and we meet new ones. All are well done, and even though we know how the series ends I hope Mr Brazee writes even more.

So so good. Things change a lot in this installment of the Undead.

So according to Amazon and Audible, there is only one more book as I leave this review I believe the sixth book is actually available on Amazon and I pre-ordered it. However, after this book, I have no idea how they are going to fit all the changes and all the different plot twist and avenues that this book just kicked off into one more book. This book is so good. This series is so good for those of you reading this review that I haven’t started it but loved the sentenced to war books this is different but still just as good. Can’t wait for the next audiobook. Hopefully Roger Wayne isn’t becoming too popular and he’ll have time to turn around quickly and get the next book up. Thank you to the authors.

Once again, Emperor Cole and Emperor Anspach have added another great comb to the canon. You are probably already a fan and you are probably going to buy this anyway so I’ll just talk like we normally talk in the fan club. It’s a bummer that these aren’t coming out quicker. it’s a bummer that they have made so many narrators famous. It’s taking way too long in my heart of hearts for new books to come out. That being said it’s a blessing each time.

The best Abner Fortis book yet!

If you have been thinking about giving up on the series, then don’t. This book feels like the first two or three in the series. It is really really good no gaps in action, well-thought-out characters that have always been there but you get even more characterization out of this book. I am onto the next one now PA Piatt is just getting better and better as a writer.

Luke Daniel’s does some of his best work. People talk up Bray, but Luke is awesome and you can hear it in this.
I like that this was additive to the story and wasn’t another Xaros book just because. Thank you Richard for this. You are probably sick of this universe and I love everything else you’ve written. I think the world needs another 3-4 Xaros Returns books though.

What fun!

All three books have been a treat. If you are reading this wondering if you should start the series yes, do it. It’s unlike anything you will have ever listened to. some of the humor is reminiscent of coffin troopers. The rest is original fun. The narration is more than superb. The overarching story is unique, as are the characters, with a whole bunch of humor mixed in.

Best book he’s written. Totally digging it.

So the first book of the series started out pretty slow, picked up speed, but overall was a good solid story and the narration was superb. This book is even better and quite honestly is better than the previous series of three books - the Coffin troopers books - that I really liked.
I’m off to listen to book 3. the narration is superb. The story is great. Can’t ask for more.

I’m ready for the next one. This series just keeps getting better and better. This book is pivotal just like one book was in the other series both authors collaborated on. I for one an ready for more and you should be too.
