So, over the years, she’s invented a number of helpful techniques for tricking, shaming, coercing herself into doing things. Her voice was fast and annoying and she spoke with a constant smattering of words that held no intrigue or intellectual stimulation.

Historia
At once profoundly personal and far-reaching, Exit Interview with My Grandmother serves as a meditation on the beginning of a young woman’s life and the series of questions that arise from examining love, loss, family, memory, and death. Moving between cities and centuries, Meyersohn probes her family's Jewish history and her grandparents' relationships in part to decipher her own young queer relationships, but also to examine how we ought to behave in the face of a world riddled with uncertainty and doubt.

A real family tale, good, bad.ugly and wonderful. Told with compassion and the fact the life is not always fair, but that family togetherness and love endure. I'm so glad. I listened to this book for 4 days, I couldn't resist wondering where it went next!

fantastic friendship kept real
Revisado: 03-24-19
this story swept me in, I could relate to the characters growing up in the 70s and I admired thier friendship through thick and thin and good and bad. the twist and turn at the end touched my heart deeply in a very personal way. the grief, the loss, the reality that life moves on, in this story is as real.as it gets, an absolutely engrossing novel.
Thank you Kritin Hannah

Historia
It’s rumoured that Dickens wanted to return to his classic novel Oliver Twist, to bring him back into a later book as an older character, but he never managed this before he died. However, if Oliver had returned, what would he have been like? Would the scars of his childhood affect the man he would become? And what of ‘Dodger’, sent to a land halfway around the world, his friend, mentor and master dead because of Oliver? Dodge & Twist is that story. The tale of two boys, 12 years later, returning into each other’s lives - for both good and bad.
