Too boring to finish
Revisado: 11-02-21
The narrator is so monotone and the story was so boring and confusing I couldn't bring myself to finish it. I've sat through some extremely boring books before but I just couldn't keep listening..

No. Just.. No...
Revisado: 11-02-21
This story was not planned out... The plot development was absolutelyhorribleand made no sense. (this first part is the very beginning of the book so I don't consider it spoilers. Those I will mark later.) First there is a tiny land dispute and the old man sends his sons friend to talk to the other people involved. They are super nice to him and their house is built in stone and he is like, hey I have a friend who likes this sort of thing, can I bring her over to show her? He brings his friend and they are super nice to her too. They go back to the old man and say his neighbors are "evil druids" who need to die. like What?!? Bashing on the evilness of a whole religion.?..? and they were nice to them. A bit eccentric but the author didn't give us a reason to dislike the "bad guys" until the very end.
*spoilers*
(This part is past the very beginning of the book so I'm going to count it as spoilers.)
At this point I can't get past the poor plot development but I give the benefit of the doubt and continue. The Neighbors are automatically evil. okay fine.. So they go and get someone else to I guess help kill off the evil druids? The chick is kidnapped and instead of walking over to the neighbors house they take another way and have to go through 7 challenges. But when they get to the bad guys they were in fact just over at their house!?! Why couldn't they just walk over to their house? Why did they have to go through a bunch of BS by going the back way? It's not like they were trying to sneak up on them! Then it just... Ends...
Seriously. Learn to lead people through a story... This wasn't good. I wasn't feeling for Any of the characters. To be fair I have read worse so 2/5 stars but honestly, it sucked...

Historia
The Faerie Code is a guide and contains seven original tales that provide access to the faerie dimension and its gifts. It discloses information from a realm that is invisible to most humans but sometimes makes itself known. Whether this dimension belongs to the inspiration coming from the realms of consciousness, or rather, to a subtle dimension where the faeries are supposed to live, it does not matter much because on the faerie path, everything is possible.

Not horrible but could be better.
Revisado: 10-14-21
I felt like the narrator was attempting to do a whispery seductive voice which was a little odd to listen to but I've heard worse. The story itself I didn't find as informative as I would have liked. it's not bad but it's not great. Better than one I just read by far so 4 stars.

SO BORING!! Only a few good pages worth of info...
Revisado: 10-13-21
I'm not sure where to start... The narrator had a dull reading voice and tone but I believe part of that issue was with how it was written. The entire first part is about Christianity but it's the angels section so I guess I get it but the entire book is chocked full of it. The only parts I liked were in the first few chapters. The angel hierarchy was explained very well and was very interesting. The main parts on fairies was wonderful. Everything else was boring and droned on and on and on and on and on... I zoned out once or twice and when I realized tried to make sense of what he was talking about but just couldn't. The writer kept trying to tie everything together and make examples with things that didn't make sense. There was an entire section about lanterns vs lamp posts and tearing them down and then a story about making cars as a necessary evil? Then there was a section about how fairy stories are so great because they could never happen... Overall I would listen to the few short good parts again but the rest was absolutely horrible.

wish it had music
Revisado: 01-04-21
i mean, I use it but it hasn't helped for weight... Just some sound to have on while sleeping. Wish it had background music instead of long silent parts. I like that the ending part is quiet so it doesn't yell about "you've been listening to audible" which is great since you listen to it while sleeping.

Historia
The world will end on Saturday. Next Saturday. Just before dinner, according to The Nice and Accurate Prophecies of Agnes Nutter, Witch, the world's only completely accurate book of prophecies, written in 1655. The armies of Good and Evil are amassing and everything appears to be going according to Divine Plan. Except that a somewhat fussy angel and a fast-living demon are not actually looking forward to the coming Rapture. And someone seems to have misplaced the Antichrist.
