Now I want to read the first book. My wife and I were greatly moved by the stories that Tim shares with the reader. A good "feel good" collection of experiences and insights. As a relatively young father, I appreciate the role models - my father is also an excellent role model. I realize that the era was different from the one in which I find myself, but there are many excellent principles even for today.

Thorough, but long

The author is very thorough, and while not clinical it has a textbook flavor. Good geography lessons. He borrows from Paget's book, too. Don't need both books, as they are effectively very similar.
