Historia
Alice Chesterfield is a woman pursued. Having survived an attack that left her scarred and her father dead, she is never free from the fear and memories of the man who is responsible. Texas seems to be an answer to Alice's prayers, and when she has the opportunity to relocate to a ranch near Dallas, a new man captures Alice's attention. Robert Barnett is unlike any man Alice has ever known: He doesn't seem to mind the scar she bears, nor does he worry about the obstacles that stand in their way.

Lovely Series
Revisado: 08-20-19
I love the Lone Star Bride Series. The second book plot started at bit of a slower rhythm due to the introduction of new characters but quickly picks up and before you know it you are engrossed again in the lives of Martie and Alice. Don’t find the book preachy as other readers mentioned. Being a spiritual person I enjoy the Christian references and find their meaning to be universal among readers of all faith. I never felt like the writer was pushing her personal beliefs onto the reader. Therefore I have to give credit to Tracie Peterson for her beautiful writing and I can’t wait to start listening to the next book in the series.
