I really enjoyed this story and its narration, and will look into other audiobooks by the same author and narrator.

If you're an art buff you will not be wasting your time and will look forward to each time you set aside to listen.

I'm thinking of moving on to another Sue Roe book, 'In Montparnasse', which I feel is a followup to this one.

A GREAT LISTEN ABOUT TWO GREATS !

You might think that this audio book is ONLY FOR MEN because it's about baseball, but it's NOT.

It's not just about baseball, it's about two great legends who rose to fame during trying times and gave America something to cheer about.

We're talking about two hall of famers whose astounding legacy in baseball cannot be denied. Kudos to Audible for keeping their memory alive.

This gal appreciates baseball, having grown up going to games with my dad in the 60's to 70's.

KUDOS TO NICK JONAS AS WELL FOR HIS NARRATION. KEEP IN MIND HIS VOICE IS MEANT TO SOOTHE, IT'S A PART OF THE SLEEP AND RELAXATION SERIES.

Like Tom Selleck said in " THREE MEN AND A BABY" , it's not the content it's the tone of voice.

I, not only recommend this title, I also recommend Mr. Jonas for more narrations.

If baseball, history, nostalgia, and relaxation from a hard day is what you're looking for, THEN ENJOY THIS GREAT GIFT FROM AUDIBLE.

WHAT'S NOT TO LOVE ?

First off, let me mention that RICHARD BURTON plays the title role and he's just as exceptional as always. I LOVE everything about this dramatization; the old radio format with it's music, sound effects, announcer and the talented cast that shines in this production.

About the production, like almost all of the radio shows back in the day, this is abridged, but you don't miss a thing - the story is in perfect sequence and flows well.

I was very pleased with this purchase and will stock up on more of these entertaining, nostalgic shows.

RELAXING...ZZZ

This is a great idea that works if you do your own part as well. Try to listen to it while you're lying down, whether for a nap or tucked away for the night. Close out the rest of your world, and Diddy will take his time and make sure that you ease your way to a relaxing slumber.

SURPRISINGLY EFFECTIVE

I was intrigued by the summary, and once I sampled the narrator's calming, even sensual voice I knew that I had to listen. Little did I know that this unique scenario would actually make me relax and sleep deeply. You have to listen while you're already in bed with the lights off, after you've taken a deep breath. Thank you Audible for gifting me what's needed most during these trying times; relaxation graduating to a deep and restful sleep.

INTERESTING AND IMAGINATIVE

This was a delightful production, with an enchanting dialogue that kept me interested from the get go. I felt as though I knew these two women, as if I was watching them from a two way mirror.

Kate always gives an excellent performance and this time she has a British accent, it's the first time I've ever heard her with one ( it's spot on ).I've never heard of the other actress, her French accent and personality are charming.

Esther Perel is one of my favorite audiobooks if any topic, I always look forward to each one. The dialogue between all parties is always paced and intelligible. I felt like I was in psycotherapy.

AN INFORMATIVE LISTEN

Everything about this bio is surprising. So much interesting information was revealed throughout the whole audiobook, it seemed like it lasted for more than 22 minutes because it covered the most important events and tragedies. Examples of his music are also heard. The narrator is one of the best I've heard.

Listen to this when you need to feel the Lord closer, share it with those you love so that they might find comfort and renewed faith along with you. I can't say enough about how well S.H. preaches with a depth of knowledge and sincerity.

GREAT ACCOUNT AND FACTS

Though there wasn't any new information, it was an eyewitness play by play of the events and circumstances from the moments leading up to the sinking of the Titanic. I recommend this audiobook.
