What can I say, it's the Sermon on The Mount, which happens to be my favorite audio version of the Bible: The Revised Geneva Version, (RGV), & Steve Cook is a phenomenal voice actor!! In fact, if you enjoy the narration in this, I strongly suggest looking for & purchasing the entire Bible!! It's titled: The Holy Scriptures Found in The Revised Geneva Version of The Bible. Or, if you're not much interested in the OT, (which, as a Christian, you really should read &/or listen to), they do have just the New Testament as well!

The Geneva Bible, I believe, is the most accurate out of all the Bibles, because it's based off the Septuagint, & not a mix of several sources. But, there's much more involved in the translation process, than I care to get into in this review. The point is, I learned a lot from a podcast called The Dance of Life Podcast With Tudor Alexander, on YouTube!! Tudor's a friend, a life coach, podcast host, author, researcher, & he's also a documentary filmmaker! If you're into the truth, he's your man, as he teaches straight from the Bible, with no hidden gimmicks or BS! I joke with them & calling him the modern day John the Baptist, bringing folks out of deception, & preparing them for Jesus' return!

The Greatest & Truest His-Story Ever Told!!!

I'm pretty sure that if they had the same text that we've got today, back in Moses' time; There would'ave been a law in Leviticus against giving a negative review of God's Written/Spoken Word!! 🤣😂🤣 But seriously, it's not easy to find an easy language audio Bible that includes the full Apocrypha, so that right there makes it a no-brainer for anyone who wasn't born in the 19th century or earlier!

But then again, who knows, after all, you do have 350-year-old people collecting Social Security benefits‼️ 🤣😂🤣 I'd say now is a great time for everyone to start reading the Bible, so if you're not disciplined enough, to commit to dusting off Grandma and Grandpa's old KJV Bible, I suggest you purchase this version right here! The end is coming, Jesus will return soon to judge the living & the dead, so read, & repent!!

Another A. W. Tozer Must Listen!!

Other than C. S. Louis, A. W. Tozer's Insights on Christianity, & more specifically, worship, has made a lasting impact on my life! As of 10/11/24, this title is free with Audible +, so I strongly recommend giving it a listen, before it gets cycled out! The narration, by Grover Gardner, was phenomenal, keeping my interest, while being soothed into a relaxed state, where I'm able to focus 110%, on the author's message! I have several audiobooks, across multiple genres, that Mr Gardner narrated, and his voice reminds me of my Pepe's voice, he'd always read The Chronicles of Narnia series to all us grandchildren, for exactly 90-min, every time we would sleep over their house on the weekends! This was back in the '80s, before they started labeling normal children with ADHD, for acting like normal children, alas, I digress... Back to my review!

Blessed Be To Whomever Hears This Translation!

This performance by Steve Cook was absolutely phenomenal! Whether you're a long time friend of our Lord Jesus Christ, or a newly born again Christian, you'll want to give this one some serious consideration! This translation surpassed every expectation I had, in the years leading up to the audio release!

The language was easy to understand, while maintaining the integrity of the original scripture! Feel the scriptures come to life, grab your copy today, & hear the word of God like you've never heard it before!!

Great Post Tribulation Book!

I figured I was taking a real shot with this one, as it's the first ritual voice narration I've heard! But I have to say, I could hardly notice the difference! This will provide a much insight into the Great Tribulation, and when the Rapture actually takes place!

Inspiring Audiobook! -- Perfect for Seasoned Christians, & Those New to Faith, & Struggling With Prayer!

Aside from The Holy Bible, FAVOR, by: Pastor Greg Gilbert, is one of the most inspiring Christian audiobooks that I've read, &/or listened to! Whether you're a seasoned Christian, like the author of this book, Pastor Gilbert, or, you're new in the faith; ALL CHRISTIANS CAN, & DO, STRUGGLE WITH PRAYER from time to time! In this book, not only will you learn about how to pray, but, you'll also learn what it truly means to have God's favor!

I consider myself a well-read,self-taught man, with a vast knowledge of topics from real estate & business, to understanding how politics/government & social/cultural societies function. That said, this book taught me what having God's favor ACTUALLY MEANS!! By reading/listening this book, Pastor Gilbert also provides listeners with the fundamentals of Christianity, along with many valuable resources to add to my spiritual toolbox! Some of which, I've already put to the test, & I plan to into my spiritual path to Eternal Life!

This was my first time hearing a title narrated by Lloyd James, & I must say, he did not disappoint! The bottom line, I've listened to many nonfiction audiobooks in my life, but this narrator made it exciting, & was truly blessed by the Holy Spirit!

1ts Time Reading/ to Massy & Glad I Did!

Whenever reading or listening to books on the subject of vampires, I'm usually a little more hasty than most. But I must say, dark corner was such an original take on the modern vampire, I was highly impressed! Massey brought forth such a marvelous group of characters, and I'm not just talking about the main characters, although the character building was sensational! But the supporting characters, even the town folk, came to life!

To top it all off, the narration was phenomenal! As of mid-December 2023, dark corners is on the plus catalog, even if it isn't at the time you're reading this, I strongly recommend adding this to your library!

Save Sum $ - Thought Dr Fauci Wrote it!

Wow, I never thought that I'd ever be giving Stephen King, my most beloved author, such a terrible review! In the 30+ years I've been reading Stephen King, never have I disliked a novel or short story as much as this one‼️ The entire novel, which isn't even the right word for this, is a cheap political slam towards Donald Trump, his "cult," COVID-19, & how stupid anti-vaxer's are!! Even if it hadn't been about politics, which in all my years, and all his books, have never been about, it had no storyline! The narration was terrible, so if you're buying this, be prepared because the woman sounds nothing like the real Holly Gibney!

I know it's not fair to pick on the narrator, especially in this case, as she probably didn't put her heart & soul into it, because it was literally just a job! I'm very disappointed in King, to the point where I'm going to return this one‼️ Even though I have the complete Stephen King audiobook collection, along with 90% of the physical books as well, I sure as hell won't be rushing out to the book store to buy this political nonsense! Some might argue, oh he's in his 70's & he's written 100s of incredible short stories & great novels, cut him a break already! Or they might say, if he wrote all those other stories for all of us, can't he write one for himself?? Sure, write one for yourself, but don't take one of your fans most beloved characters, & turn her into a snobby, whiny, know it all Karen‼️

Being a long time fan of fiction, horror, & having read several thousand books in my lifetime, I've never seen an author as professional as King, throw the middle finger up at ¾ of his fanbase! Furthermore, in all my years of reading, never have I felt such an urge to write a review as negative as this, about an author I truly love‼️ It's because I feel betrayed, great writers, with no history of writing with political bias, do something like this, knowing it would hurt some of his fans‼️😡 I'm usually ending a Stephen King review by saying, I can't wait to see what he comes out with next. Now, I'm a little afraid of what he's going to come out next, just not in the same way.

Great Storytelling With a Shocking Twist!!!

Silver Light by W.K. Greyling is one of those hidden gems you find every so often in the Sci-fi/Fantasy Realm! In this well-written tale about a young man named Walde, a tree dweller who possesses an ancient and forbidden power, referred to as Reaching.

Reaching is a hereditary power, passed down from father to son. Reachers are able to connect with a mysterious being from deep beneath the planet. When his father is accused of being a Reacher, and sent down the river, as part of a mock execution, Walde embarks on a dangerous journey to save him.

Unaware of the secrets and lies that await him, Walde discovers there’s a lot more to this than just his father's faked execution! Greyling’s characterization is outstanding, and the plot is surprising with some astonishing revelations and exciting twists! Greyling transports you to a dystopian world, where a peaceful people revere and draw life from a specific breed of Mothertrees.

The narration by Arthur Morey is ok, but he's a bit too old to be Walde;'s voice, and the voices of the other characters. Fortunately, the storytelling was epic enough, so I was able to push through to the very end, and I enjoyed the first chapter of the second novel at the end of the book, I purchased the 2nd title right away!

In closing, other than the narrator being older, I can honestly say that I thoroughly enjoyed listening to this. Silver Light is a remarkable story that deserves all 5 stars. It’s a must-listen for fans of J. K. Rowling's Harry Potter series.

Short, Sweet, & Scary as Hell!!

Oh my God, this was my first time reading Dona Fox, and I must say that I really enjoyed her short story! I've always been a huge fan of anthologies, particularly, of the Stephen King variety!

Dare I say Ms Fox is giving the Master of Horror himself, (S. K.), a run for his money? I'd have to listen to a few more of Fox's work, before committing to that statement. Like all great tiny tales of terror, upon completion, I was left feeling a thirst for more!

Caroline Downs is a phenomenal narrator, truly bringing this short, but horrific story to life, while scaring the pants off me in the process! 🫣 If you like a good scare, look no further!
