Historia
Crazy. Brutal. Unpredictable. And those are their good qualities. A pair of foul-mouthed mercenaries go on a suicide mission in this otherworldly fantasy. After accepting a mission that no one wanted, He-Dog and Ballless travel the treacherous Lands of the South to the glittering city of Foust. There, they find the fabled walls under siege. A vicious, seething army of Beastmen surround the city, intent on sacking it and feasting upon every last citizen within.

"Lords A...Bove" Blackmore!
Revisado: 04-26-25
The descriptive writing is I think what he should be known for, followed closely by character & world building techniques 💪🔥👌. John Lee makes all that Super crazy epic, but I know you could get there hardcopy reading with Blackmore!

Wow 😳 👏 🔥! What an amazing ride here! Hardcore Sci-fi makes up over 95% of my library, I had never heard of this author B4, I got on this series B/C John Lee narrates all the books and he's just hands down my favorite Narrator. Now I'm sold on Keith, his writing style is epic with deep nuances, character and plot development are next level. I couldn't put this series down I burnt through all the books in less than two weeks! I think he could go 2 or 3 more books here with no problem. Liked it so good I'm reading another series now written by Keith! Do yourself a favor pick up this Omnibus it's in my mind cheap, I would have paid full price for each book!

Outside the Pit, Brozz fights for his life and Borchus finds refuge with an old friend. Struggling to recover from his wounds and seeking a purpose, Halm of Zhiberia discovers that giving up a pit fighter’s life isn’t as easy as it seems . . . nor is it his decision alone. And in the west, a monstrous enemy makes itself known—and positions itself to strike at both the games and Sunja’s heart.

Their battles are epic, but deadlier still are the shadowy forces that conspire against them outside the Pit. Only by applying their brutally honed survival instincts can these brave warriors hope to win their freedom and exact grisly revenge upon their enemies.

I'm impressed 👏
Revisado: 07-04-22
Got roughly 70+/- Sci-fi titles in my library, at least 30% of those I could have lived W/O 😖. Hard to find a great Sci-fi epic...I'll admit I found this new adventure by Searching for what narrator John Lee is on, that guy just really brings any book he calls to the maximum 💪🙌. There's a lot more military battle sequence in this than I usually tolerate, I'm more of a world builder, 1st Contact, Deep time nut, but these characters are quality & the science is good here, which I believe makes Sci-fi plausible if done properly. I'm looking forward to getting on to the 2nd novel here!

Revisado: 07-07-21
With less than 2 hours to go, I'm done 😔. Yeah ya lost me quite a few chapters B4 this one Robinson, but death by Giant Frog I'm tapping out Bro😒👎. Also This is the 3rd terrible book R.C. Bray has narrated that I've purchased that is....Well just freakin terrible 👎. 🤔Idk if he's just hanging out with a bunch of Drug addict wanna be Authors that seduce him in to voicing crap or if he just has no choice in the crap he narrates 🤷♂️??
