This story was delightfully sweet and spicy. Can be read as a standalone but the whole series is great. Childhood friends to lovers is my favorite trope but this is so well done anyone would enjoy.

Love this series.

The whole After the Plague series is wonderful. I love the characters and seeing their beginnings here even though there’s lots of heartbreak in this one. Narrators were good. Only thing I didn’t love was having intro and outro music for each chapter.

Very cute serial killer love story (lol!). Banter and spice were perfect. Nice build up of their relationship. Now, the voice acting that brought this to life was one of the best audiobook performances I’ve experienced. Highly recommend!

Morning Glory Milking Farm was just another quick tug-machine operated facility, no different from all the rest. Sure, they had big pharma money and special hands-on amenities the other milking joints couldn't boast, but at the end of the day it was the same old story—cash he didn't actually need in the bank, all for doing what he would have done for free anyway. Get in, get out, get on with his day. At least, that's what he thought.

This alternate POV for Morning Glory Milking Farm was such a treat. Troy Duran was perfect as Rourke. Rourke’s POV rounded out the story in a beautiful way. Looking forward to rereading the original now for fun.

I really really liked these characters. I could read a whole series of them. The FMC was unique and captivating. I also totally fell for Wald and Huck and the relationship between the three guys. Le sigh.
