Historia
Martin Corona, a US citizen, fell into the outlaw life at 12 and worked for a crew run by the Arellano brothers, founders of the Tijuana drug cartel that dominated the Southern California drug trade and much bloody gang warfare for decades. Corona's crew would cross into the United States from their luxurious hideout in Mexico, kill whomever needed to be killed north of the border, and return home in the afternoon. Martin Corona played a key role in the downfall of the cartel when he turned state's evidence.

Simple but sincere personal story of a young man that could have gone another route in life.

The Manipulator. I can manipulate the emotions of anyone who lets me. I will make you hurt, make you cry, make you laugh and sigh. But my words don't affect him. Especially not when I plead for him to leave. He's always there, watching and waiting. And I can never look away. Not when I want him to come closer. The Shadow. I didn't mean to fall in love. But now that I have, I can't stay away. I'm mesmerized by her smile, by her eyes, and the way she moves. I'll keep watching and waiting. Until I can make her mine. And once she is, I'll never let her go.

Making felony stalking cool again
Revisado: 11-29-23
Amazing that topics like smoking cigarettes, rape, kidnapping can be sexualized and packaged as erotica. This book will be all the justification a lunatic will need to convince himself that stalking a woman can be an amazing romantic endeavor. The storyline is lackluster with no real plot other than to find the sexual assaults surprisingly refreshing. Absolutely no character development and no clear direction of what the goals or desires of the main characters are in relation to their setting. Disappointing to say the least.

Historia
In Hunt, Gather, Parent, Doucleff sets out with her three-year-old daughter in tow to learn and practice parenting strategies from families in three of the world’s most venerable communities: Maya families in Mexico, Inuit families above the Arctic Circle, and Hadzabe families in Tanzania. She sees that these cultures don’t have the same problems with children that Western parents do.

Lots of talking but little said
Revisado: 02-09-23
I couldn’t stomach the continuous elaborate build up only to speak in generalities. Annoying narration by the author(speaker really) and hard to follow the plan that is supposedly the key to success.
