Historia
Traveling to distant, exotic lands and meeting interesting, exciting people is all part of Kelsey's gig as a dungeon. And if she has to kill someone, well . . . they probably had it coming. Ever at her—or at least her avatar's—side is the dependable Anton, and now he's leading her on a quest across the ocean to rescue his people from slavery. That doesn't mean Kelsey can neglect the home front though. Her putative liege, Suliel, has earned a telepathic link to her, allowing the dungeon to coordinate the development of the barony.

This book was a lot of fun. You can tell that the author put a lot of fun and subtle touches into the text like when it obliquely references other famous LITRPGs or the MC makes the characters inadvertently quote earth movies. If you liked the first one this one is also great.

Historia
The planet of Kiln is where the tyrannical Mandate keeps its prison colony, and for inmates, the journey there is always a one-way trip. One such prisoner is Professor Arton Daghdev, xeno-ecologist and political dissident. Soon after arrival, he discovers that Kiln has a secret. Humanity is not the first intelligent life to set foot there. In the midst of a ravenous, chaotic ecosystem are the ruins of a civilization, but who were the vanished builders and where did they go?

Historia
Brin is scarred, but no longer alone. After giving up his evil Rare Class in exchange for the simple and common Glasser, he’s finally been accepted by the people of Hammon’s Bog. But acceptance doesn't guarantee safety. Mirrors and glass spearheads offer little protection against threats both outside and within. An army of undead is lurking in the surrounding forest, cutting them off from the rest of the world. There’s no rescue in sight, and worse, no one knows why the army is there or when it will attack.

Wow.
Revisado: 01-17-25
It’s been my opinion that the fiction genre in general and LITRPG in specific has been getting better over the years.
I’m guessing that people are finding new and better ways to synthesize ideas, crowdsource their editing, and even optimize with AI.
Even so, this author really knocked this one out of the park. I didn’t know sequels could be this good. I’m almost scared to listen to the third.

A great RADIO PLAY with a science theme.
Revisado: 01-12-25
This was a very well executed RADIO PLAY. We might even call it a five star production. The science was solid. The voice acting was excellent. Like the old time stuff one would get on the radio…
…but please understand that you could have reworked the plot so that it was about warring kingdoms or a religious scheme. It is not a five star science story adapted for audio, but the inverse.

I consider myself a big fan of great LITRPG…
…but less so the middle level quality. In my opinion this one is in the same ranks as HWFWM and ELLC. I would write more but I’m still trying to sort out in my own mind what made this author such a great writer.

How do we stop?

I’ve been reading or listening to self-help books from the library or Amazon for ~20 years now and even wrote a booklet of my own for my business niche. Name a self-help or business author… I’ve probably read him or her.
But this was the one I was looking for all those years. I am both elated and tired. It was a long journey.

Historia
In this witty, often terrifying work of cultural criticism, Postman chronicles our transformation into a Technopoly: a society that no longer merely uses technology as a support system but instead is shaped by it. According to Postman, technology is rapidly gaining sovereignty over social institutions and national life to become self-justifying, self-perpetuating, and omnipresent. He warns that this will have radical consequences for the meanings of politics, art, religion, family, education, and more.

Historia
Ashley Perrin is fresh out of college and starting a job as a community liaison for the Third District–the city’s only sector with more alien residents than humans. Ashley’s barely found where the paper clips are kept when she’s beset with constituent complaints–from too much noise at the Annual Lupidian Celebration Parade to a trip-and-fall chicken to a very particular type of alien hornet that threatens the very city itself. And if that’s not terrifying enough, Ashley is next up at the office karaoke night.
