Historia
For the ancients, everything worth pursuing in life flowed from a strong sense of justice—or one’s commitment to doing the right thing, no matter how difficult. In order to be courageous, wise, and self-disciplined, one must begin with justice. The influence of the modern world often tells us that acting justly is optional. Holiday argues that that’s simply untrue—and the fact that so few people today have the strength to stand by their convictions explains much about why we’re so unhappy.

With each book, Ryan Holiday gets better and better-as a philosopher, as a writer, and as a person.

Historia
In 1967, a 25-year-old refugee named Bashir Khairi travelled from the Palestinian hill town of Ramallah to Ramla, Israel, with a goal: to see the beloved stone house with the lemon tree in its backyard that he and his family had been forced to leave 19 years earlier. When he arrived, he was greeted by one of its new residents: Dalia Eshkenazi Landau, a 19-year-old Israeli college student whose family had fled Europe following the Holocaust. She had lived in that house since she was 11 months old.

Historia
For business leaders and public figures in any arena, The Speed of Trust offers an unprecedented and eminently practical look at exactly how trust functions in our every transaction and relationship - from the most personal to the broadest, most indirect interaction - and how to establish trust immediately so that you and your organization can forego the time - killing, bureaucratic check - and - balance processes so often deployed in lieu of actual trust.

Inspiring content; paradigm-shifting insights
Revisado: 11-17-18
This is one of the most powerful and life-changing books I have ever read. It is full of insight and wisdom, inspiring content, and paradigm-shifting insights.
Read by the author, Stephen M.R. Covey, I found the book to be so engaging that I wanted to get through it without delay. I am now starting over and listening to it again, so that these truths can wash over me and fill my soul with light.

Incredibly spiritual and insightful novel
Revisado: 11-10-16
City of Tranquil Light is a gift. It is truly one of the most beautiful and spiritual books I have ever read. It is filled with wisdom and insight, and I was so inspired by the faith and courage of the main characters in the novel. Honestly, it was amazingly profound, and I have been deeply touched and changed by it.
