Yung Gravy knocked it out of the park with an appropriate performance of such a scandalous work (spoiler ahead). In that time period such sensitive material would have been best presented by a dispassionate male of some social standing. Gravy did this on his performance though I must say that his affect improved as he read. Quite well done. As for the spoiler...it's not quite the bodice ripper it once was, this story. The coquette resented the pomp and arrogance of her fancy suitor and so cleverly tricked him to make arrangements for an elopement but, not to him! Instead of marrying him she swiftly eloped with the poor artist whom she was really in love with. Her jilted suitor never showed his face in town again! And, it ended well despite her coquettishly behavior, because she had children and became quite matronly

Soothing, informative, immersive, and sleep inducing

The narrator has such a lovely voice. The details shared are fascinating and it's so easy to imagine the natural spaces she's describing, especially with the natural soundtracks. This is such a wonderful way to fall asleep. I look forward to the new releases!

The author achieves a cozy feeling similar to John Bellairs in her narration and character development. We really enjoyed the main character and look forward to listening to more of these wonderful stories!

Some great stories in here. I loved One eyes, Twi eyes, Three eyes. Aladdin was filled with racism and wasn't appropriate fir my child to listen to...there should be a warning attached!!!

Terrible narration. Voices awful

I dont recommend purchasing this! Listen to the sample first to see what I mean. Wonderful book but the children's voices, in particular, were really annoying. Henry sounded like an elderly smoker with a great deal of flem...just a raspy strange effect to use for a childs voice. Making the younger children's voices squeaky didn't provide the desired "cute" effect. In the future I'll just happily read them out loud and have other audiobooks on hand for car.
