Sanger provided ample examples and sources to illustrate how Russia, China, and the US are intermingled, how we got here, the priorities of each entity, their strengths, and their weaknesses. I’d highly recommend to anyone wishing to further their knowledge of the above.

Countless Chances

The book is well researched but I found the copious amount of numbers and figures mentioned too challenging to remember for any length of time. Overall, the book delivers a clear message: Trump is a grifter who’s survived by failing upwards, chance, and infinite lifelines from his father.

Draws Connections

Bob Woodward does a fantastic job of connecting Trump and those in his orbit with foreign influences. This book is easy to follow, it does not overwhelm you with names and dates. I would highly recommend reading!

Mild Rambling

The narrator was fantastic. His cadence, inflection, and various voices were excellent. The story was a bit anticlimactic. There wasn’t much in the way of horror or riveting suspense. It’s mostly about people banding together to survive. Nothing novel about that idea.

Dr. Grace is a quirky, nerdy fellow, but the plot, writing style, and narrator were excellent. Definitely worth a read!

Throughout the book the author provides facts, gives theoretical solutions, then explains the pros and cons of his position. Chapter three succinctly details the looming threat of crisis change in an illuminating manner. I highly recommend this book!

Repetitive and General

The same information is perpetuated throughout this book so many times you’d think Audible was replaying the same few chapters. None of the information was in-depth, it was a surface level synopsis of articles that every average New York Times reader would already know. The material is presented in a textbook fashion with a slew of statistics that wouldn’t be applicable in any situation outside of a classroom or think-tank.

Exceptional!

Finding myself a quarter of the way through Robin’s book I realized it would eventually end, which left me debating over whether I should read it slowly or continue my rapid pace. It wasn’t much of a battle, the tales were too exciting and well-written to be put off. Without a doubt this book is one of my favorites. It’s safe to say Robin is an endless source of motivation. He is a man who displayed courage and honor through a thirty year career in the military. I recommend this book to anyone with a fascination for history, aviation, military, or reading.
