Historia
On the nightmare battlefields of the far future, few foes spark more fear and dread than the Chaos Space Marines. Nurturing a hatred that is millennia-old, they attack without mercy, spreading terror and destruction in their wake. Now hell has come to Hydra Cordatus, for a massive force of terrifying Iron Warriors, the brutal assault masters of Chaos, have invaded the planet and lain siege to its mighty Imperial citadel. But what prize could possibly be worth so much savage bloodshed and destruction—and how long can the defenders possibly hold out?

finally something goes to plan.
Revisado: 07-21-24
One of the better chaos space marine stories out there. Nothing ground breaking but honestly a good bolter p@&n novel, solid action and a good story definitely worth a listen especially if you're a iron warriors fan.

Historia
In the dark corners of the Mortal Realms, the mad and mysterious Gloomspite Gitz go to war, following the trail of their abominable lunar deity. Nowhere is beyond the sight of the Bad Moon—not even those places under Sigmar’s protection, like the sweltering city of Draconium. Beneath the scalding rains of Aqshy, the city is a boiling pot of tension, its regent praying to Sigmar for guidance while Watch Captain Helena Morthan douses the fires of anarchy: blades drawn in the streets, heretical doomsayers preaching the end of days, and insects eating watchmen alive.

The bad moon rises!
Revisado: 10-03-22
Another good title by Andy Clark. The title and cover can be a little bit misleading thought that this was going to be a standalone novel for the gloom spite gitz which is one of my favorite factions in age of sigmar . But the story overall focuses on a mercenary group holding up in city besieged by them. Definitely feels kind of like a campy horror late '80s movie written in the age of sigmar, which definitely fits for the enemy in this book. It's a little bit slow to start off but the pacing is pretty good. Overall enjoyed it, Just hope that gloomspite actually gets a book written from their point of view one day

Okay at best and if you're a big fan of the lore.
Revisado: 04-07-22
So the narrator's voices are extremely off-putting and not the biggest fan but I do appreciate that he tried. The story ends abruptly and is only one half of a two-part series. I honestly struggled to finish this book The story itself is fairly dry and boring but is filled with the elder scrolls lore which if you're a big fan of you might just enjoy a little bit more, It was actually the only way I was able to get through this book. I'm really hoping the second part gets a lot better and makes us worthwhile.
