Great short love story

For such a short story I feel like I really got to know the characters and the back story. I became invested. It ended perfectly for the author to have as a stand alone or expand it in many ways. So a short sequel could be in order or already done I will actually be checking

Book 2 and still loving it

Second book I’ve listened to and finished it in a day. Less than because I’m about to start another one of hers as soon as I hit submit. It’s truly the ease and flow of her stories I’m enjoying. It’s so messy/ complicated it’s totally the type of things that happen in real life. I’m definitely not one to stress over things I have no control over, but these books make it so plan and simple it just helps keep that in the forefront of your mind. They energize me and push me through my day.

Beautiful surprise

This book is really well written and narrated. Different from any book I’ve heard narrated before but made it better in some ways. A change from the dozens of books I listen to every few months. Back to the story, it develops in such a organic natural way that it almost seems made up. Then you think about your own love life or someone you know and realize this story isn’t so far fetched. The part that sealed the deal for me was a Gandolf joke that made me laugh out loud extremely loud. Luckily I was walking my dogs lol. I’m definitely listening to more of this Authors books. I got through like 2 a week if I’m really interested in them.

Surprised at how relatable it felt

I love how this book makes it easier to understand what you clearly know or see about Asians. I learned a lot and enjoyed the story so much I would listen again because the performance was amazing and brought the book to life

So I started on the third book

This book was a great standalone book so I know once I go to book one I’m definitely going to enjoy it. Love the characters and how they communicate. As well as the writer’s ability to show growth in such a short story and it not feel rushed or thrown together. A definite must read writer and book. Ohh yes the performance of the characters was perfect and will listen to more books read by her by different authors if available

Pleasantly surprised

This book caught me off guard and I only picked it because it was a few listen and a unique story for a romance. I didn’t like the narrator at first but one it grew on me and two I had to realize it was doing a robot and as it learned the speech changed so it was ok. More of a pilot twist at the end that made this review this high but I would listen again. If u have audible plus and it’s free just give a try before using a credit.

This indeed was a very well written book. It’s a slow burn romance that gives you everything you could hope for. The character development is at the top of the list with my favorite authors. I can’t wait to binge all the books I can from her.

worth the as always

This book was well worth the wait to finish off the wonderful series. I actually waited to start it because I just didn't want to see the characters go. Maas writing is amazing and with the narrator it makes it a perfect 10. there is only one other narrator I love but still not more than Evans. Maas writing mirrors real life where everyone you meet are part of a thread that makes up your life. If you do the right thing and those thread can either become a blanket or a comforter. can't wait to start another one of Sarah's books. I'm forever a fan and can't wait until they hit the big screen so others who don't read can experience the wonderful world and characters she creates!!!!
