I bought this audiobook because of the narration of Ray Porter, who also narrated the Project Hail Mary (Andy Weir), which I loved. But this book was not great, I didn’t enjoy the story and stopped listening midway.

Very nice stories, that make you think

These 9 stories are very well written and make you stop to digest the information after each one. I had to pause the audiobook for some minutes to understand each story, after it ended. And they are very short, so I was able to listen to all of them in a short amount of time.

Very interesting view of all technologies that surround us

She takes a view that is not radical to any side, as we are used to seeing. There are benefits and problems to every technology, and we need to find the right amount. I found very interesting the last chapter about the future and AI, when she explains which fields will most likely be replaced by automation and which will not. She quotes a lot of other authors and during the entire course other sources are used to base her view.

A little too complex for "normal" people

I bought the audiobook and the Kindle book, but I found it too difficult to follow the information on the audio, as it always refers to numbers, symbols and equations. The information was worth reading, so I could get an overview on what a “mathematician world” is like. The information is way too complex to understand, at least for me who does not have any mathematical background.

Information exposed easily for everyone

As the other books from Professor Kaku, this one is also very accessible, with information being layd out in an easy to understand way. And with a very dynamic and interesting information through all the book.

Didn't solve my problem!

The idea is good, but this book couldn't solve my problem of getting angry every time I sat in my car. But today I can say I am cured, not because of this book or any other, but because I learned to accept that other drivers also want to arrive at their destiny, and they are maybe in a greater hurry than I am, and that's why they drive like they do. I learned to be more patient and let the others go first, because I am not in a hurry and the ones that pass by me like crazy (just 10% of the drivers) are late or have an emergency.
